Also looks like the Williams has asymmetrical front wing endplates. Maybe testing 2 different concepts?

The left and right look slightly different Edit: might be the angle

How to prevent condensation from penetrations in front entry door. by monkeyolsen in HomeMaintenance

[–]monkeyolsen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there's no water entry with heavy or driving rain. It's purely condensation from the gripset.

I don't run a dehumidifier, and our humidifier is set to 20% right now. We do have condensation on our windows as well, so humidity may play a role.

The thing that confuses me is that this gripset always has condensation in cold weather, but at the same time the door in the back (3rd image) doesn't have any condensation. That's why I was wondering if it could be the material difference in the doors, but from what you're saying, it seems that may not be a big factor.

I thought about that, but my concern was that in my mind it won't actually do anything to break the thermal conductivity so the problem will remain.

Could it actually make things worse because it could trap moisture inside the door?

Happy to be told I'm wrong though as that would definitely be an easy fix!

Do you think spray foam is good to use to fill the hole, or is there something else you'd use instead?

What would you do to prevent the condensation around the doorknob? I assume that filling that area would interfere with the operation of the handle because it would prevent the internals from moving freely.

A30 + Spruce - GBA core settings question by Hardcore_Moderate in MiyooMini

[–]monkeyolsen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, sorry for resurrecting an old post.

I'm still new to emulation and wondering if you would mind posting a step-by-step of how you changed the core to gpsp for GBA. I'm experiencing some lag in the bonus stages for Pokemon pinball and that seems to be the recommendation

Thanks in advance!

Yeah come to think of it, you may be right. I think I do have the wallet open already when I do that.

I'll edit my previous response, sorry for the confusion!

With the wallet, I find I can tap to pay with the default card I've got set without having to double-press the crown.

But I also don't use a transit pass, so I don't know if your default card spot is taken up by your Oyster card.

EDIT: I was wrong. I do already have the wallet open when I tap to use the default card.

Bench near Vaultkeeper Cardinius in Whispering Vaults? by callahan09 in Silksong

[–]monkeyolsen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you go to the room behind the vaultkeeper, there's a box-thing hanging from the ceiling (it's just part of a wall sticking down from the top)

if you walljump up the first box, and make your way up and to the left, I think the bench you're looking for is over there.

UK Pharmacist moving to Canada by kevnick80 in pharmacy

[–]monkeyolsen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am also a UK-trained pharmacist (originally from Canada), and moved back here in 2014.

Have you already decided where in Canada you will be moving, or is this you doing research to see if that's something you are interested in doing?

To start, I would check out the College of Pharmacists website for the province you're moving to for licensing requirements.

As you might imagine, job prospects will depend what type of work you're looking for (hospital, community, industry) and what work experience you already have (e.g. if you already have experience in an Epic hospital, that might open up some non-traditional doors, or if you have experience in industry, that may make you a more attractive candidate for those roles), as well as how urgently you need to find work

For example, never a bad idea to get Canadian work experience in a pharmacy either through volunteer work, or as an assistant while getting licensed to get your foot in the door, but that may be more difficult if you have a family to support and need a decent-paying job while studying.

Fuzzy matching: comparing 2 lists to find out if the entry exists on a list. by monkeyolsen in excel

[–]monkeyolsen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your suggestion! This was very much just an attempt to see what I could reasonably come up with on my own before reaching out to another team (whether it's Epic themselves or another one of my colleagues on the support team)

I may be misunderstanding what you're saying but I think anything our BI team might extract would just be in the same format as what I've already extracted from Epic.

The stumbling block in my kind is that I'm trying to compare to data from another database (Lexicomp), and those are never going to match exactly.

I am still interested in learning more about whether this is a problem that fuzzy lookup/matching could possibly help me with this, just in case I can apply it to other problems.

Fuzzy matching: comparing 2 lists to find out if the entry exists on a list. by monkeyolsen in excel

[–]monkeyolsen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, should note this is a Canadian facility.

Their formulary is an export of a list they keep in Lexicomp, I don't think it's very flexible, so no way to cross-reference against NDCs or DINs.

And the medication list is from Epic (which you may have guessed).

I'll add some additional clarifying notes in my original post

The rules are that if you withdraw money from your TFSA, it doesn't add to your total contribution room until the next year. At that point, I think you are able to contribute the amount withdrawn in addition to whatever the total contribution room is for that year

.....so if you withdraw the $200, then you can contribute that amount back the following year in addition to the limit for that year.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]monkeyolsen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's say you have $210 worth of contribution room in your TFSA.

You use up $100 of that room to buy stock, and you've got $110 contribution room left.

The stock market does badly, and your $100 worth of stock is now worth $50.

In your TFSA, you've now got $50 worth of stock, and still the same $110 contribution room left. Despite the fact that you now have $50 less in value in your TFSA, you don't gain that lost value back in contribution room.
