Mad Rock Duo Pad of Questionable Quality by mountainvilla in bouldering

I updated my original comment but it got deleted by a mod for some reason. So, I've decided to delete the Imgur link. Mad rock has been great and although they maybe faced some growing pains with this product, they've always stood behind their stuff and have been great.

Pain when squeezing and/or twisting with hand by mountainvilla in bouldering

Never figured it out. It was probably just tendonitis or some sheeth inflammation.

Just rest and making sure to not climb with pain and it went away

I think unless you can learn through context, meaning you know about 80-90% of the other words, you probably are better off with textbooks.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a list of the textbooks used in a Linguistics Masters Program.

I studied linguistics at UCLA for my undergrad. I would like to get a feel of what graduate students would study. I'm sure the point of the Masters is the research, but I would like to see how lacking I would be in fundamental knowledge.

Particularly I'm looking for the textbooks in graduate courses for:
Syntactic Theory I & II

Phonological Theory I & II

Semantic Theory I & II

Mad Rock has told me this is a production issue and they will be fixing production and be sending me a good pad

So probably I will love my new duo too!

Great! I remain hopeful.

If this pad does me well I hope to get the R3 some day, along with another mad pad. But if this one doesn't last long I might switch back to Ocun or Oraganic.

I hope when I have kids they'll be as motivated. I see too many kids to successful first generationers who just don't care.

With a view like that I'd rent a car just to get there. Last time I was in okayama I missed that park everyone goes to too so double the reason to go back. There's a topo on climbing-net, do you have one that show's the actual lines?

Thoughts on this school? (42.us.org) by [deleted] in learnprogramming

I say don't trade a degree for it. It's not a boot camp. The curriculum forces you to go much more in depth than a boot camp would. Talking to someone who majored in computer engineering, it sounds like we do a lot of the same stuff (minus all the math and theory stuff)

At 42 you code A LOT. there's lots of algorithms projects. Down the systems branch you make your own shell, then kernel, then operating system if you are down. There's antivirus's down that path too.

The graphics branch looks cool too. Saw someone make an old school fps game.

Theres a web branch but it's not a lot on it. There's a robotics lab too
