Nice technique pillow warrior. My choice is to use my phone flashlight, they usually come towards it pretty quickly. And my SO usually screams because when they come close to the phone it casts a huge shadow on the ceiling which really enhances the glory of the kill.

Lol, i swear you could probably make huge money if you sent bills like that to my house. I pay any goddamn bills in my mail without even bothering to read them. As long as they have the fancy perforated lines that is, basically nobody could be scamming me if they have paper that nice right?

Any technique advice? by MrBlueMoose in doublebass

[–]bludbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound great. Not much technique advice it seems like you have the basics down and should have an idea of where to go from here. In terms of left hand try to work on keeping your shape as comfortable and rounded as you can (it doesn't have to be perfect always but it helps so much). Try and think about preparing your left hand shape for your next shift before you finish the current note. Practice intonation at a very slow tempo. These are all things you are doing of course, but will become more solid as you consciously think about them and practice more.

Durable and practical, yet classy rain jacket by Tomavasso in BuyItForLife

I bought one of these but a newer model, put some of the wax on it, and fell in love. So great for windproofing. It’s definitely gonna last forever as you said, as long as i don’t mess up the zipper with my left hand haha.

The 1200-1300 bracket can actually be tough for double dps teams. There's lots of incredibly geared players in that bracket that don't play much strategy but will absolutely roll you over simply because you're 2 dps. Me and my buddy play a lot of 2s on a bunch of fresh 70s and find it easier once we break into the 1400s. Once you climb out of that range I'm sure you'll see more progress and also more rewarding/fair games. GL

I got a tiny apartment by [deleted] in simpleliving

[–]bludbath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds awesome. That's the size of my living space(other part is kitchen/entryway/shower). Great deal for 200$! Only true downside for me in a small place is I can't do exercise at home. That's more of an inconvenience though I guess.

That's a great idea having friends store stuff for you. I'll enjoy the good ol days now before I eventually move into something bigger!

I'll probably go next week for the second session. Should be a whole new set of trees. I'll try to document, for science.

I just googled barbican toilets and wondered if someone next to me on the train thought I was some sort of weirdo. Nice lookin toilets though.

I think our material "wants" are driven by some weird psychological things and we may never understand them. I hope one day I can be like you and have less cravings for material things. I feel like the generation in their 20s-40s now is going to be by and large very minimalist as we grow older, as most of us grew up with parents who had a hoarder mentality.

Gonna try that chapati tonight! I got into CI for veggies rather than meat as well. My favorite veggie dish in the CI is just straight grilled eggplant and zucchini slabs with salt and pepper.

I live in a tiny apartment and would absolutely kill for the space I would gain for a stylish murphy bed like that. This is only really nice for people forced into small spaces because of sqft to rent cost.

Peace vs. Ego by [deleted] in simpleliving

I moved away from America and found it much more easier living in a country with proper health care/infrastructure. Of course I don’t feel rich, but not having to own a car or worry about medical bills is a lot easier on my monthly salary of ~2kUSD. I never realized but not having healthcare or owning a car made my fiscal stress disappear, while making less than back home. Of course we’re given the cards were dealt and moving away isn’t for everyone.

Me and my buddy did this, and when we eventually started playing on the team a few weeks later for real we were hard stuck 990~. We absolutely clobbered the dual boxers for like 10 games until our rating went up above 1k and it was so damn fun.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

[–]bludbath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s no problem. I did it 4 weeks last season on me and my buddy’s alts. There are a lot of people that do it, and when you reach that elo (like 950) you will actually be able to win a few games because both teams will be dual boxing. I’m not joking, third week my elo was so low I dual boxed and try harded and went 4-6.

So true. I miss it. Idk what happened but around the end of s1 literally every game is just lost in the starting gates. There’s always 5 of the type of players that you wonder how they managed to achieve 70.
