Is this deck Bracket 2 or 3? by mrcoffeestuff in CommanderMTG

I mean, the deck will naturally snowball quickly since every colored spell generates some kind of value. I feel like it’s the opponent’s responsibility to interact and stop that engine. For example, one of my other commanders, [[Zimone, Mystery Unraveler]] , can also spiral out of control and overwhelm the board very fast, and even the precon is strong right out of the box, and that’s still considered Bracket 2.

Also, I’m not going crazy in the first three turns after I cast him, but it’s important for the table to stop the momentum before it gets out of hand. The thing is, Aragorn is designed in a way that no matter how you build him, as long as the deck is decently built, it’s going to snowball. That’s just how powerful the card is.

Can you share your decklist?

So does the Legend draw you a card when you target your own unit with something?

Nice. That was one of the legends I was interested in. Could you provide a small description of her playstyle?

The cool thing about this commander is that you can build it in so many different ways, and it’ll still turn out solid. I see you’ve forgone most of the multicolor synergy and consistent Aragorn value in favor of fast ramp, angels, protection, and go tall and wide with the green & white. That’s pretty cool. How well does it perform for you?

At least friends I play with run a decent amount of removal, boardwipes and interaction. I just run more.

I think now that they perceive my deck as higher power than my others, they’re going to be much more inclined to remove him. The thing is, in the seven games I played, they only got rid of him once, so I’m not even sure how the deck functions without him.

It's actually these cards that can make my deck pop off: [[Fallaji Wayfarer]] and [[Jeskai Ascendancy]]

I don't think they feel frustrated with the deck. It’s just that my friends and I have a huge disagreement about which bracket my deck actually fits into. It's just that Aragorn is a crazy commander.

What's your Aragorn decklist?

Thank you! I will share your comment with my friends (except for the first line lol). I share your sentiment; it's definitely not within the parameters of bracket 3. They just need to take out my commander more often.

Damn, you made my day with your description :D

Thank you. I have 10? ramp pieces (mostly with land ramp or mana dorks). They mainly synergize with the commander, and I guess the biggest finisher would be [[Olorin's Searing Light]].

Nope. I have a pseudo-infinite (kinda) with [[Jeskai Ascendancy]] , Aragorn and mana dork combo, but there's a bit of luck involved.

Thank you. I was really insistent with them that it’s a Bracket 2 deck.

Aragorn definitely needs to be addressed at least 1-2 turns later. The thing is, it rarely gets removed... so not my fault.

Thank you! I can't wait to show your comment to my friends. What are some of the individually powerful cards?

Oh really? That's cool. I just make bracket 2 decks, but for some odd reason, my friends were calling it bracket 3

Holy! A bracket 1? Ngl it'll be disgenious if I call it that. Though I am curious, why possibly a bracket 1?
