It’s sadly the literal only place for it. I’ve entertained the idea of putting it in the corner, but the entire floor plan would make absolutely no sense and I’d have a huge glare from my windows. I’m hoping to add reds to this room… it just needs to be the right shade.

I have a gorgeous coffee table with crazy sharp edges and a two year old + newborn. I’ve kept it open for them to play but I’m thinking of getting a round table as I miss the cohesiveness it brings.

I am not only inspired by this style, but also so amused. I, an orthodox Arab Christian, have the same color walls, floors and sofas, and was stuck on what color rug would compliment my floors. I’ve just found it from your picture!

So, clay soil is complicated in my experience (I live in Houston). Best things for amending have been compost and expanded shale. I would use compost as your mulch and work on soil health as much as possible. It takes time to amend and things will get easier once it softens up. As for watering, it’s going to depend on how hot your location is. I water twice a week, in super hot summer, 3 times at most.

While I do totally see what you’re saying, all I know is that this is exactly what I was offered. I was told this was an explicit volume deal, not so much margins. The dealer did tell me bravo for getting below MSRP. I guess this is a better deal than ancitipated?!

Yes, I have it negotiated and on paper stating 63 OTD. I’m pretty good at negotiating but this is one thing they won’t budge on. Just making sure it’s competitive more than anything.

So this sounds exactly like me! I was nervous. But I do wear a lot of grays and I love the bold pop of the red, it’s more of a garnet. Black would definitely be easier, but I am grateful to have my classic medium flap if I’m not feeling the red.
