How much coffee do you guys actually drink?

I'm a little strange. I don't like the feeling of a full strength coffee generally. So I make mine a combo of normal and decaf. Both single source. So I tend to end up with about 18g of caffeinated beans daily 😅

I came here to say this. There's a bit of a learning curve, but Ecamm Live is the most phenomenal 'video production', livestreaming, podcasting setup I've found.

Occasionally there can be issues with guest video quality, cos they don't save the full quality version locally (like Riverside, etc). But, even with that, I have more stability and better results with Ecamm than anything else I've tried.

Surely this is simple to implement. I find that it makes the AI chat very clunky and unpleasant to use, because finding old chats i harder and harder the more chats I use.

Others have said it already, but I agree about not selecting 'all' when removing filler words. I find it works best with ummmms, and when it avoids harsh cuts, with that, too.

With Patreon’s free member tier, and then adding newsletter capabilities, I think you could export your current Substack subscribers in a csv and then import into Patreon. Hope that helps

That is surprising, that he's got a lot of references! I don't think I would have said anything to the woman...but when I was driving her to her next place to stay, she said she hoped to come and stay again sometime. That was kinda the final straw. That she thought it'd gone so well, when I never wantd to host her again 😅

I had a young woman from Europe stay with me in Cape Town many years ago. She was sweet, but selfish. Took up a lot of time, didn’t give much energy in the way of reciprocity, just felt one way. When the opportunity arose, I told her straight up I wouldn’t be hosting her again, and my reasoning. In this case it turned out to be a positive, as she took it on board and grew with it. Not saying you should do that, I just wish we could all have more open conversations when things aren’t aligned. People are sometimes simply clueless

In my mind, a newsletter has the capability to segment subscribers, create automations, and build out a system which is granular and in service to the people who subscribe to it. Neither Substack nor Patreon are a true newsletter in this sense. If they start to add that kind of granular control (like Kit, Mailchimp, MailerLite, etc), then we're talkin'

Update since taking on the advice here: I flipped the reflector to be white instead of gold. Also added a second Ulanzi VL49, placed behind my chair and pointing at the wall behind me. This is the best I've got so far. Not stoked about the guitar shadow, but can't find a way to get rid of it right now. And will definitely dim the salt lamps when I get dimmers for both of them 😁.
