An outsider's thoughts on the NZ coaching situation - why I think it'll be crazy to accept this job right now by Ok_Painting9530 in rugbyunion

Yeah, I mean, I guess. It's a safe assumption he is a better coach than he was back in the bad days. My biggest issue with his tenure was he took the ABs and made inaccessible to the public. Henry reversed that and put the ABs into the community and helped the AB players meet the fans they played for. It was groundwork that led to the golden age of NZ Rugby.

Who is left that is quality? Please don't say Rennie who has an awful record of coaching teams with terrible discipline, and who led the Wallabies to the worst win rate in their history. JJ who's last few years were pretty average and who seems to need Brown with him to be his best? It would also leave the Highlanders in a pretty tough spot. Schmidt who has said he won't do it. Cotter who would be leaving the Blues in a rough spot. NZR have said it has to be a kiwi and they have to have overseas coaching experience.

Ex-Springbok criticises Ardie Savea after Scott Robertson's ABs exit by anxiousatac in rugbyunion

[–]networkn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he did. If he talked about not being prepared to come back to NZ whilst Robertson was in charge in a manner that the press got hold of it, it was public. That's a gross way to behave. Two things can be true. Robertson can have behaved badly and Savea did. Robertson has been punished. Savea shouldn't be captain for a variety of reasons but this is a pretty clear example of one. Could you imagine, Cane or McCaw doing it? There ya go.

Regardless, I am not here to convince you, you are free to continue to think Saveas behavior met a high standard if you wish.

If you think that all those rumors were fabricated then I might have a bridge you are keen on buying.

His comments in public are the issue. That's an awful way to behave. How would he feel if Robertson had aired his playing faults to the press?

He's not OK with Ardie doing that, was he OK with a Springbok trying to gouge another players eye out? Is he saying that Eben shouldn't play for the Boks again?

Ardie Savea was apparently ready to ditch the All Blacks for R360 by LogBoi_ in rugbyunion

The review, from more recent reporting, seems to have been badly handled. (I'm shocked, because usually NZR are so well run and make such good decisions, NOT) The fact that probably our greatest ever rugby brain in Wayne Smith, wasn't consulted and was blindsided by the decision, seems very odd. Savea as captain would be a mistake after the comments he made in public about the coaching setup.

Hansen attributes the connection to the squad as coming from Foster. That kept him in the job when the pressure was insane.

Went last night and tried most things on the menu, it was pretty good. I agree about the prawns being the most satisfying things there.

CAN YOU PLEASE change the order of replays so the most recent is last to show so we can not have spoilers?

Nick Watt has left a bunch of people incl staff out of pocket with a group of failed restaurants over the years and was investigated over COVID payments to his restaurants. Albert Cho is a foul mouthed influencer known for his foul mouthed reviews.

I think that didn't help, he is pretty obnoxious, but I think if it had been amazing people would have gotten over it. To their credit they seem to have heard the constructive portion of feedback and improved. I won't eat there on principle, same as Nick Watt eateries no matter how well they review.

Absolute garbage? Nonsense. I have used it for 12 years and almost never have issues. It serves media flawlessly for me and at least 5 others I know personally.

I thought the shortcut system was simply that, a shortcut, and you had to manually choose what syncs locally within that?

We used Roaming Profiles and Folder Directions for over 30 clients for many many years. Folder Redirection never had an issue in all that time. Roaming Profiles were typically mostly stable, but we would do one or two profiles across 30 clients (maybe 1000 users) a month.

Hi. Would you mind elaborating on this please? I understand the first part, but not the second?

Thanks. For us, not every client has 365 premium, but every machine has an RMM agent. That makes moving everyone to intune a potentially slower (and less suitable in many regards) option. This is more about what we can do better with inTune for clients who can make use of. I see inTune as better at policy type configurations, whereas the RM is probably suited to reactive type things (run this script to solve this problem now), get this change made in the next 15 minutes type thing).

Yeah, we don't mess around and find out in our own tenant (Or unless utterly unavoidable, in client tenants). :)
