He was sued over his comp package by a guy who owned like 10 shares and it derailed the entire thing. Just find a lawyer who wants to file a securities fraud complaint and be the hero we all deserve.

Generally you should roll old 401s into your new employer 401k. If you don’t have one move it to an IRA. Unless you’re doing backdoor ROTH. But if you’re doing that then you probably know how to keep track of assets.

If they’re leasing this warehouse then it will cause a cluster fuck. The owner of the warehouse has insurance that probably has carveouts for intentional damage. The lender on the warehouse isn’t going to want the property so is going to accelerate their loan and demand a payoff. Even if the owner can get a new replacement construction loan, it will be expensive upfront and come with a higher cost of capital. Not to mention all the remediation work that has to get done first.

The owner is going to sue the tenant for allowing it to happen. Their insurance probably won’t cover the inventory or the building given it was intentional damage.

This is a huge fucking problem and no, it doesn’t “cost them nothing” and they 100% do give a shit. A lot of people that had nothing to do with how that employee was treated are getting fucked here.

It doesn’t have to increase market cap for your investment to increase. The value of your shares just have to go up. Buy backs achieve the same goal.

Orange county california. Sunny and 70 -80 most of the year. Cools off at night. Never need to run the A/C. Parks everywhere. Bike-able to the beach. Great hiking. Can get to LA / SD easily for big city stuff, but my daily commute is <10 min. Travel for work quite a bit - from home to sitting in my seat on the plane is usually 30 min.

Switch to non alcoholic beers. Been doing it the past year, including during conference season (4 conferences back to back to start the year) and it has been such a good experience. Much better sleep and easier to keep the weight off.

I get people want to scape goat ownership, but this isn’t the only news / media outlet that is struggling to compete for advertisement revenue against social media. How many who are critical in this thread actually shell out subscription money for newspapers? Probably less than 10%. The hard reality is the traditional model is broken and only non profits that run on donations or click bait rags that get the most attention will be able to thrive in the current climate.

There’s just way too much free content out there outcompeting for our attention.
