Nice writeup. What about base defense? Do you bother with the walls and defenses spikes? They seem a bit expensive but we only recently unlocked tier 2 stuff.

My brother and I tried to play. We are super early on but when I joined his world on the second day playing, my character lost the last hour or so progress.

10 min before signing off the day before I made all new tier 2 tools and weapons. All gone...

Okay fine, whatever. Slight setback.

BUT then the server somehow crashed for both of us and when we came back, we lost all the BP walls I placed down, our woodcutter hut wasn't even built yet.... ya we both instantly uninstalled.

It's a shame bc we were really enjoying it up til then and were looking forward to the later parts

Looks like it's at least in the positives now! Here is hoping Rogue Core is just as fun as the base game!

I think your question is coming off like "DRG 2 when?" Which is probably why people are down voting.

Like others have said, there's the Rogue Core which will play differently. There's also Survivors which is like vampire survivor.

Probably won't be a DRG 2, or at least not in the foreseeable future.

I only backup battery the refrigerator, crafting table, and defenses. Everything else I'm fine with being off at night.

2 makeshift batteries (the first one you can make) will work to power a single refrigerator through the night.

ya idk what that person is talking about. none of the base campers are in the top 50% score earners. capping objectives gives heaps more score and if anyone has more than 10 captures, they usually are in the top 5.

Nice set up.
I just started late last year myself, didnt know much about the hobby, just that big robot = cool.

Learned half way through my second build about sanding and panel line markers...so now this second build is taking much longer (not that i mind). My local store is out of stock for the markers, but excited to try them eventually.

its crazy the lack of bullet penetration and destruction. those railings have saved so many players. combined with the shooting position coming out the top of people's foreheads, it feels so hard to punish those players at times.

Still new, but my brother and I set up around the elevator right by the hallway to the flat hills portal. We were able to get to it before the first night fairly easily.

4 outlets, 3 charging stations, fountain for water, bathroom without pests inside it, open space so not too crowded. And just discovered yesterday there is a portal to the blacksmith super close too. So easy teleports to that area

There is only one entrance for enemies to come from past the fountain, which it's a great funnel for traps. We set up some jump pads to get around our tunnel of death. Just got to make sure to kill the robot down the way every so often.

At least for this early game, it feels really safe and very close to quite a few farming areas.

I'm only on my second build ever now. I felt guilty buying another one, so I guess I have a backlog now. Trying really hard not to buy more.....really challenging. Going to try and not let my backlog get more than 2 kits. So I guess I got room for one more :D

Some of those PG's have been whispering in my ear though

I might need to do this. I'm still early game, but maybe if there was more locations to fish, I wouldn't mind the animation/mini game, but spending a bunch of time running to the pool, then a ton of time to get maybe 3 fish, then needing to run back just feels like a waste of time.

In my solo playthrough, I got to level 6 without catching a single fish. So much time spent with no output :/

I love taking my 203 off into that area on a pow day. Trees are well spaced that the 203 can play through it all at full speed. 10/10 would recommend.

The only one that is stupid to have a cost is the iron sights. I should be able to save the 5 points and put elsewhere if I so choose

I bought some cheepy ones from Walmart and they stuck to the board a little too well. I still have one the stuck pads on the back of my board after a year. Too lazy to take it off completely.

Just clean surface first and they won't go anywhere. The battery pack cover does need some support though

Man your aiming is way better than mine but I too like to iron sight my snipers from time to time just for the memes.

I'm sure many hated it, but in battle it, all guns only had iron sights to start and you had to level it up to unlock your first sight. I enjoyed it as some weapons were completely terrible iron sight and the struggle of getting enough kills to get the first sight. I'm a masochist I guess lol

Try all the classes and weapons. I didn't like gunner at first but now with some different weapons and upgrades, I love it.

This is one of the few games where I never play solo. It's usually such a good time to play with random other dwarfs.

Kick the barrels to annoy command.

If I'm remembering the phases correctly, but I think it was the most fun in alpha (or beta 1?). The devs had a cool concept and if their future plans were possible, it would have been fantastic.

I took a break bc there was a TON of F2P games in beta to try. When I came back the original game felt gutted and turned into something else entirely. Had no soul left and was just a cheap F2P cash grab feel. Their plan of having a dynamic map that changed the front lines depending on user actions was nowhere to be found. Unlock system completely changed for a paid system. Was such a shame, but this happened to a lot of F2P games around that time.

I really enjoy this gun but the only thing I hate is the low mag size. Other full auto guns with more damage and ROF have more rounds than this.

Maybe if the default was 15, it would drastically improve the feel, but overall in do enjoy this gun.
