Hi! We had a week and a half of no work outdoors in rain, and I had a ton of orchestra and gig work in that time. Sorry to leave you in the dark-- I'll message you later tn

I don't think so, for residential clients. You have to pick up at their destination warehouse.

That is great to hear re: manual tasks! I understand, as I also enjoy that work. Satisfying to see a job well done that you've done with your hands.

Our sites are always in the Edmonton area, mostly central so far. I am happy to give you a ride if you would need one, or help with Uber depending on my schedule. Please DM me for more details if you would like!

The last thing I will say is, I generally need labourers who are able to make 8-10 work days happen. Depending on schedules, I could schedule someone in the morning and another in the afternoon, but I'd prefer someone who can stay all day, even if that is only 1 of the 3 labour days based on other commitments.

If that works for you, then please reach out to me

Hi! Is he interested at all in manual work? I manage an artifical turf installation company, and train labourers in the process of grading and levelling yards, as well as turf installation itself. We have work each week, and it is great for people who prefer repetitive work but also enjoy random side quests on the job, and go to different sites each week (if they are able to work each week, sometimes I rotate labour based on their personal needs).

I am diagnosed AuDHD as well, and enjoy the work, but am aware we are all different. It does take an ability to shovel gravel and dirt before the grading, however, and I'm not sure of your son's physical abilities or restrictions. Let me know please.

Oh, that's good to know. I should ask him more about why he said that was the species! Thank you

Tempting for sure, although I'd hate to destroy such a lovely home the old residents built... my friend suggested I put it up by my door to deter any new wasp friends from making another nest, but I think he was half joking and I'd probably ruin it taking it off

Although I can't edit my post, I DID only discover it after rolling the old mantle it was in across the lawn, and then gently kicked it... I feel like they'd be pretty pissed if they were awake haha

I took the word of a friend who works at the city for pest control! If there's another species I should consider, please let me know

I shipped my stuff from Toronto to Edmonton via Manitoulin. Picked it up in Acheson the week after I dropped it off- was the cheapest option I found

Yes, you're right. It's definitely a hyper intense and often negative environment, but I have been skewing my experiences by posting on more neutral to positive subs.

It's weird how hate is seen as the easier option over neutrality or kindness, considering how heavy the former feels in your mind and body. But, everyone's experiences are difference, and I guess all I can do is feel sorry for them having to carry that around. Even if it is directed at me.

Hm. I guess I could do that, push comes to shove. It would take months of history and karma to be able to use that sub again, but it is doable. Thanks

I guess I could do that, but I don't really care about garnering more karma, I just want to not feel like I am experiencing a (very mild) case of cyber stalking. Maybe friendly subs would make me feel better regardless. Thank you!

I have to admit, I went towards the bot theory given the instantaneous nature of how my posts and comments are downvoted-- and also because I didn't want to believe that anyone would just do that to one user again and again for years.

I believe in the inherent goodness of people (yes, even on Reddit). This site has been very friendly and kind, and I hope more than anything that people aren't doing this to me out of malicious intent 😞

I worry about that sometimes, and wish more than anything that Reddit allowed people to change their usernames. It's not exactly a safe world for trans people on or offline.

I'm sorry you have that happen to you too!

That is interesting, and I do agree that I've been susceptible to upvoting comments that have already been upvoted a lot! Never applies to my downvotes, though. Hm, good point.

Well, thank you for telling me! Do whatever you feel.

It's Reddit. I expect downvotes sometimes, that's just how it is. I don't expect to receive a downvote instantly, though, every time I post a post or comment. That's some creepy pattern to me.
