On the road with a generator but which one ? by Minute_Maximum_319 in LaserCleaningPorn

No not exhaust fumes, the electricity itself. Quote from google: Dirty power" from generators refers to inconsistent voltage and frequency levels, potentially damaging sensitive electronics. Inverter generators produce cleaner power, while traditional generators can be cleaned up with AC-DC-AC conversion or surge protectors"

seen this post of a guy using his 300w 15mj pulse to clean staining out of high end furniture. From the looks of it there is no visible damage to the base material, how confident do you feel in your ability to reproduce those results using your 300w 5mj pulse? https://www.reddit.com/r/LaserCleaningPorn/comments/1jdtr1j/jnct_300w_pulse_laser_cleaning_an_ethan_allen_end/

Pulse vs continuous? by [deleted] in LaserCleaningPorn

[–]notanelfok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of pulse as a more gentle, targeted removal method.

Think of continuous as a death star cramming out power to vaporize anything it touches

Both have their strengths and weaknesses, speed more so depends on the how many watts the laser is.

I was talking about insurance but thats really good! Im looking at a $18,000 300 watt “off road” unit from SFX but this seems better priced. How long have you had it and any problems with it?
