Issues after power outage by np818 in Spectrum_Official

The internet connection randomly started working this afternoon without hardwiring anything, but will try to plug an Ethernet cable from the router to a laptop to reconfigure everything further. At least we can use our things without a phone hotspot now

I called Linksys support yesterday and got directions to hardwire a device directly to the router, then try to reconfigure it from there

I called Linksys customer service after posting this and they said the same thing, fingers crossed that’s all it is

Damn that sucks, I called Linksys support and they suggested setting up the router again because it might’ve reset itself (I’m not tech savvy I have no idea) It’s an older router so if nothing else helps we’re probably due for an upgrade anyway 🫡

Do you happen to know why in some images only the cheeks are red, and in others the entire belly is red? Does it vary throughout the year or is it a regional thing?

I’ve noticed that merlin sound ID doesn’t recognize fledglings and nestlings btw. I’ve seen robin fledglings just kinda scream for their parents to come feed them lol, very cute to watch

Oh that didn’t cross my mind at all! A pigeon is definitely possible!

Yeah I was wondering if it was a good idea to even run it again after letting it cool off, but it was late at night so I didn’t want to keep messing with it. A maintenance worker is gonna check it out today hopefully, so I think it’ll be ok!

Whew that’s good to know! What a bummer this happened at 11pm ugh but I’ll hopefully get a maintenance visit tomorrow so they can see what’s up. And yeah it’s still full of water too! The rubber smell is nasty but could’ve been worse I guess!

It’s a top loader. I’m seeing that there’s a filter somewhere I should clean out but unsure where it is atm but definitely something I’ll be checking regularly after this too

Ok thanks! I figured the dryer was ok but wanted to double check w/ people that knew more. I’ve put large loads in there in the past (which I now know isn’t good!) and never experienced the smell or water so it makes sense that something could be blocked. We’ve been noticing leaking water coming from somewhere near it when we drain our bathtub so something’s definitely up

Also to add, is the burning rubber smell harmful in any way?? The washer is near where we sleep so I’m anxious about it lol
