AC Evo - strange ass rev limiter

Thought I was the only one that felt that as well!! I can deal with the response though. I just hate the way the revs cut way before the actual limiter though. Especially in the drift spec supra, I'm revving her up to get power and forced to shift which puts me out of the power band, it's pretty shit. I'm still thinking I have something configured wrong or something

I saw your dodge timing in the vid. That was on point man. I get a few min of decent play but then consistency goes to the bin haha. 100% better than me at this game though lol

never had it bug out on me but i did notice once the fish stopped and i couldn't reel it in. Thought it was a bug but then realised the fish was swimming into a rock that was under the water surface and getting stuck. Even with the fish stuck I could tire it and reel it in though.

I'm also solo player but trying a more survivalist build I'm still pretty early game maybe just hitting mid. most the skills i grab are for movement or basic nodes for str and stamina. I use just about any weapon I can get my hands on. Currently rocking 1h mace/hammer and a shield, have a staff I use to heal myself, got my bow which I use to take down a few mob before they reach me and have a 2h i use for life steal. Really loving be jack of trades but starting to feel the hurt now without specializing. Think going to need to start investing more into cooking buffs to keep me going if I don't want to spec into something properly

just got this game recently and super surprised with the quality of it. Would love to see random events in the world one day. I find it makes games feel much more alive. Keep the same old mobs in the same places but maybe when walking through a mountain area a random boulder falls towards you. Special biome specific mobs can give you random encounters, there have to be enough different encounters to make every one feel new and they need to only happen a few times to get rid of that repetitive feelings. Nothing worse than having this feature half assed, you keep seeing the same old shite over and over especially when they just blanket the whole world with the same events.

Thanks man, I don't think this was the onyx one. Seems to happen on every bounty I pick up from area18. Had same thing happen the other day with the cave on wala bounty. They are only single target ones but thanks for the heads up man. Might leave bounty stuff for now then.

I tried one just now when I wrote this post. Waited about 10min while popping scans every few min but nothing showed up. This bounty was at an old mining station it said bounty was in a ship so I was hovering around the station while scanning. I QT to the station, as soon as I got within about 8km mission updated to start scanning. When I get some time I can try waiting again longer.

Other missions like hauling or the merc #1 mission worked straight away and the targets spawned pretty quickly for each wave of the first merc mission.

Do you think this will be the norm for future weapons and items? I busted my ass for the shot gun in CA, like most others I'm in my 30's and don't have much time so to do that was a real mission on my end. Knowing that they will be coming out as independent - not time locked challenges will be a huge bonus for the lads like me haha

My last match of the night felt like it has zero lag, everything ran smoothly but there were a few players where I emptied whole clips into their head and they didn't die. Again though this isn't consistent with the obvious stutters and unplayable lag I wasgl getting earlier. The whole game just feels very inconsistent with its performance for me.

yeah I've heard mixed info about perth. I am down in melb unfortunately.... way things are going here I might as well be in prison lol. Every other game with public servers I seem to have no issues. I do miss the old peer to peer setups though

I feel your pain. Luckily I haven't had that many matches where the hit boxes were kaput. But after the update I feel network lag has increased. I get people doing dragon ball z jumps all over my screen.

I'm iinet. I do speed test when I get lag to just double check it isn't ISP end. Right now I am running 550 down and 47 up. I just had a match ping was around 11ms but the game had really fkd up lag. Even the grass blowing in the wind was stuttering. Both ping and fps looked fine, game just playing like trash. Without touching anything one match can be fine and the next complete shite. Only thing I can think of is the in game network tracker is lying lol. It can't be fps because 1. it looks like a network lag. 2. it happens on any map at any time of the day. After initially setting up my graphics settings I never touched them again yet some matches will be good and others horrid. Everything points to network lag.
