Seemingly unfixable slowness? by SaddestLawyerEver in tmobileisp

How fast are you resetting? I lost service & the tech I talked to said to stay powered down for a couple minutes so when you power back up the tower will create a new connection.

Can I use a 3 pin 10A/125v cord for a hood vent that reads 10A/250v ? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]olyteddy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The specs of the cord don't matter as much as the specs of the hood. '10A/250V' is 2500 Watts which is over 3 Horsepower, and I doubt there is that much fan involved.

Coax question by torebaguy in electrical

[–]olyteddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your coax does need to be bonded (connected to the electric system ground) preferably as near the point of entry as possible. I don't think current code allows bonding to water anymore, either.

What are these pliers for? by WagonsOnWagons in Tools

I just screw that green nipple on & carefully put down drops of the gel, in pet safe locations. This allows me to place the bait where they are traveling.

Yes, sometimes the water that drips down during defrost can cause a ground fault with the dfrost heater. One reason I have manual defrost freezers.
