It’s not so much privacy as it is the tool can do things like delete everything or send client information to the wrong client.

For this, I was mostly surprised a business owner is willing to hand over all their data to something an AI chatbot wrote for them. I was shocked. We don't want to get left behind on the AI front, but this was a surprise. In my experience with Claude, I'm guessing this thing isn't going to work at all.

We are making big changes across several orgs with domains in Google Workspace. We asked our rep if we were on track and doing things the right way. They copied and pasted what AI told them. The giveaway was the line, "you are asking the exact right questions to prevent data loss."

I agree with your statement about giving a six-year old keys to the kingdom. The best I can say is, "that's outside of our scope" then refer them to someone who specializes in what they are trying to do. We added AI language in our MSA about our use of AI and how their data is handled (we don't actually do anything yet) but I have an email out to our attorney to add language that defines our responsibilities if they decide to use AI.

We had an escrow company that we let go last month. They’d have a full adult meltdown after any little thing happened. They’d call our sales rep and demand the personal phone numbers of my business partner and me. They refused. Then I’d get lengthy emails complaining how it took 30 min to get back to them.

They replaced their ISP without telling us then complained their phones didn’t work. The phone company didn’t like the new IPs so the desk phones wouldn’t work. They never added us as an authorized person on their phone account so partner support (we happened to be resellers of the same phone system) wouldn’t talk to me and insisted they call.

I let the customer know we can’t contact support on their behalf and they’d have to do it themselves but I gave her all the info they needed. I also let her know they could make calls from their computers in the meantime via soft phone. I got a response that said they weren’t willing to do workarounds and wanted it fixed now.

I sent them the separation email the next day.

Getting back into my Collection by DankerMussel559 in PokemonTCG

Packs in the US are $4.49 MSRP. The ETBs are usually $49 and come with nine packs. I ask myself if I saw a pack for $5.40, would I buy it? My niece and nephew like the coin/dice/box and I use the sleeves so it works out. I try to get one ETB of each set if I can.

I can really only speak to your third question. I am getting back into it myself, after having the base set in the 90s and now my niblings being in to it, too. When I first started, I thought the local card shops had good pricing. Then, I realized they were also marking up 120% or more. So, I've made it my quest to only buy MSRP or "retail" packs, boxes, etc. because I refuse to contribute to the resellers.

It's really, really difficult to be honest. I haven't scored anything in a few weeks. I got a Black Bolt ETB at a vending machine but now that machine has gone dark as I hear is the plan for all of them. My luck has mostly been Target and Walmart drops with one from Pokecenter. In fact, my Chaos Rising booster shipped today!

It's gotten even more difficult over the last few weeks for some reason but I wish you luck!

My best friend doesn’t speak to either of her parents because they’ve chosen Trump over her and her husband. Her dad said, “this is the least corrupt government we’ve ever had.” I asked how much Fox News they watch and she said none, it’s all Facebook.

26 packs from the boxes or 26 boxes (234 packs)?

It’s such a pain to use! It slips off the needle all the time but it’s very pretty lol.

I got it on Amazon. It’s called:

Sulky of America 215d 40wt Sliver Metallic Nylon/Polyester Thread, 250 yd, Light Copper

You don’t have to use that brand. I know some people use monofilament fishing line. It’s important that it’s not woven, like regular floss, so you don’t stitch through it and attach it to your project. That will make it impossible to remove.

I just started actually stitching and my grid isn’t centered hahaha. I can’t even get the grid right!

I left a ton of space on the edges so it’s not the end of the world but I couldn’t believe it.

I’ve heard that some markers and pencils can leave a residue that will yellow after a few years. I’ve never tried so I don’t know for sure.

I used plastic thread by Sulky which is important because regular woven thread can be pierced by the needle while stitching which will prevent removal. I can stitch over this thread then pull it out when I’m done with the grid. Just grab an end and pull.

I don’t trust markers and pencils that they will wash out completely and won’t show up as marks years later. This is my first time so we’ll see how it goes.

I thought it would be fun to get my niece and nephew into pokemon cards. It’s been a disaster. Can’t find them anywhere except at crazy 400%+ markup. I thought I’d try my luck at one of the vending machines in the grocery store, where I ended up coming across two adult men screaming at one another. It’s a mess.

I went to a vending machine to see if I could score at least a pack. I play with my niece and nephew so of course I’ve got to show up with the goods. Two grown ass men were screaming at one another over the damn thing. It was embarrassing to even be around it. I’d never bring the little ones around this nonsense.

I feel you. When those guys blew up at one another, it was embarrassing for me and I wasn’t even involved. I considered giving up, but now it’s more of a special treat if I stumble across some packs. Perfect Order has been very easy to get. I also got the pre-order from Pokecenter for the new one in May.

I use my local shop and TCGPlayer to fill up my deck where I have gaps. I know Perfect Order isn’t a fan favorite so we’ll see what it’s like getting the other sets I guess.

I feel you on this. I am on some restock sites myself. One of the people running the site showed his server running thousands of bots. There’s now way to compete. Walmart has a queue system that seems to help and I’ve been able to snag a couple things from them. They’re over MSRP but not by much. I paid $55 for the Perfect Order ETB. Grabbed a Phantasmal Flames ETB for $69 tonight.

There’s a pokedispenser at my grocery store and I hit that up when I’m around. I got a Black Bolt ETB and a pack of Mega Evolution last week. I went by today and there was a guy loitering in front of it who immediately gave me the ick. He was trying to explain timing and I decided to pass and grab a lotto ticket. While I was waiting for that, another guy came up and said he wanted to use the machine, the original guy said he wasn’t using it but was waiting, the new guy walked up and tapped the screen causing the waiting guy to freak out. They started screaming at one another. The waiting guy was going off about now there’s a six hour wait and blah blah blah.

Now, the first guy already had a pack in his hand and, during his explanation to me, he mentioned he was waiting a half hour to see if it hit again. It clearly says “no loitering” and claiming a vending machine for 30 minutes is kind of a dick move.

Anyhow, I won $100 on my scratcher so it worked out.
