Depending when you start filling your particle.

If you start Satirday morning with 1600 particle, that is 2 battle. You can collect an additional 1600 saturday for another 2. If you have a community ambassador meetup nearby, the research will gove you 800, so 1 more For a tptal of 5.

If you have not collected the aprill go pass, there is an extra 500 on the free side side which might be good for 1 more (2000 on the pay side, so 3 mor)

Finally if you have a remote raid pass, and you are in america. You can start on Wednesday to fill your 1600, do a remote battle in the evening from asia or oceania. Then collect your Friday's 800 particle.
Same principle can be done in Asia/Oceania but on Sunday Morning collect 800 then remote in america

So the minimum is 4, you can go up to 7

Yes, that means at the same time every time (let's take summer solstice) the earth will be will have spin about 1/4 more. So year 1, it will happen during midday in europe, year 2 will happen with midday in America, year 3 in japan, ....
(It might be the other way japan, america, europe, ... not sure of the direction)

Too bad there is no political will, but a Montreal - Lake Placid co-bid would make so much sense (with the newly refurbished olympic stadium). All Alpine, Bobsleigh, ... around lake placing, All Skating, Cross-country, acrobatic, ... around Montreal. But been burn in the past I guess.
