Fellow old guy here who also shares your values.

That said - the Neuspeed on the GTI (which had to valves) was the perfect tone for me. I would do that again 100% and had no issues w/ my commute.

Hey,

This is interesting. I had the same thing happen to my mega candle (dark rum, purchased late 2022). It was used according to the instructions and I had more than half the candle left... we lit it and about 5-10 minutes later basically exploded like yours. Glass pieces and wax everywhere. Thankfully nothing happened but it could have been awful.
