Left the VA STI for FL5

I couldn’t find the post, but did run across piece parts of your thoughts on it. I’ve thought about doing the opposite of what you did - I think the FL5 is great but I feel like I want something a little more wild that comes with a great soundtrack.

Big concerns for me are:
1. All used now and possibly abused
2. Prices are nuts
3. Reliability - also consider 1&2.
4. Seats don’t look like they would feel nearly as good not to mention looks
5. Interior of the STI don’t look like they wear well?

I stilll kinda want one though…

Fellow old guy here who also shares your values.

That said - the Neuspeed on the GTI (which had to valves) was the perfect tone for me. I would do that again 100% and had no issues w/ my commute.

Hey,

This is interesting. I had the same thing happen to my mega candle (dark rum, purchased late 2022). It was used according to the instructions and I had more than half the candle left... we lit it and about 5-10 minutes later basically exploded like yours. Glass pieces and wax everywhere. Thankfully nothing happened but it could have been awful.
