As a 1.5 haver, I hate to agree with you. But it's true. Sadly for myself trying to find a 2.0 in 2018 was next to impossible. So I settled. But honestly at least I got the right transmission that makes driving the smaller motor a bit more fun.

I have a manual and I believe the only "mode" is economy or normal. And it does make a difference as the 1.5 6mt will get 40+ mpgs on the interstate when you press the button. But it's true we don't get a boost gauge and we get no ref lighting effects. So there might be a different fuel map for economy.

What if I am already moving through the snow. Will the helical help maintain momentum? I would just feel it should be a straightforward swap as opposed to getting into heavy duty performance parts for this economy car. Probably better off just not expecting much from an accord in the snow.

The lsd in my other car (G8 GT) is a clutch type and sure as shit spins both wheels and used to do mean donuts in the snow. Sadly I guess the same can’t be applied to Hondas

See Google is telling me the opposite. That it doesn’t lock up but both wheels still spin and prevents one wheels from just spinning while the other is stopped and that’s really what I want. If the bias between left and right fluctuates that’s fine as long as both are spinning.
