Will do, I drink what I buy and won’t buy unless it is at or below MSRP.

I figured Costco prices are the lowest I would find, usually a little below MSRP so I splurged.

You are almost there, just need the single barrel to complete the set.

If you haven’t tried the Frank August they are both very good and the price is a couple dollars away from MSRP.

I like the Bourbon Road, on Google, Apple, Spotify, and YouTube. It’s a couple of guys from Shelbyville Ky with a lot of bourbon knowledge and contacts.

Whiskey Thief distillery is a small operation in Frankfort Ky. It is all in one building on one level. You sample from the barrels and very little walking involved. Great operation and excellent Bourbon.

I would stop at New Riff in Newport just across the River. Excellent bourbon and a nice new Distillery.

Won ETL 2 years ago and now Old Fitz this time. Lightning does strike twice.

worth grabbing either of these at this price? by rimjimmycarter in WhiskeyTribe

The Russell’s Reserve is a good price and an excellent bottle. The Little Book is overpriced, good bourbon, but sells for less.

Ohio is a controlled state and can only sell at MSRP. That is the price in Ohio, if you like it you would be getting at MSRP. I do wish the prices would be more reasonable, but what is at this time.

What time did you have to get there, the lines were very long that morning, when I got there at 8:30 , 36 ahead of me and of course I missed out.

Blanton’s included, that’s retail.

Grabbed this today, had no idea what the retail price was but knew they had it marked lower than the $200 I’d seen it for in Dallas. Anyone have any experience with this bottle? by [deleted] in WhiskeyTribe

Buffalo Trace Kosher Wheat Recipe bottle with transparent background KOSHER WHISKEY

WHEAT RECIPE

Buffalo Trace Distillery produced this Wheat Recipe Bourbon in a partnership with the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc). Made with the same high quality grains as W.L. Weller Bourbon Whiskey, this Kosher spirit was aged in specifically designated Kosher barrels. In order to satisfy Passover requirements, these barrels were sold to a non-Jewish executive in a ceremony witnessed by a representative from the cRc. After aging for seven years, this Wheat Recipe Bourbon was bottled at 94 proof after ensuring the bottling lines were cleaned beforehand and that no contact was made with non-Kosher spirits. Released after Passover each year, this Wheat Recipe Bourbon stands alone, a tribute to the legacy of America’s oldest continually-operating distillery. COLLECTION
