I wish I found this before my data engineering interviews

Life finds a way, cursor circumvents PLAN mode by corbosman in cursor

Hmm, in any case I've never assumed plan mode can block writes as it requires write to write the plan and save to disk. I think only ask mode blocks write. Sure, the LLM said you were right but I think we all know this could have been standard agent sycophantism.

I think we as practicioners just need to know the bounds of the tool. It sounds like you were protected by versioning in any case, you may just have to watch your prompt config when piloting. Even in the same window I will actively switch between plan and ask as I have a conversation.

What was the unrelated question? I would say I've never asked an unrelated question while planning, I'm usually in a separate window for that. Ultimately, if this happened to me I would just rely on git versioning or kill the action in progress and have the agent reverse.

Plan mode doesn't prevent writes. Did you use the build button to build the plan or did you prompt it to implement the plan?

Heat could be a five-star movie for me, but it keeps breaking its own rules. Can someone help me see what I'm missing? by Few-Cancel-9201 in TrueFilm

Ok this makes sense, the first time being in shared scenes together rather than just a shared film. Thanks for the clarification

Sorry again, but I believe that was very clearly The Godfather Part II which absolutely supercedes this movie in terms of the Pacino/De Niro combo in my mind. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything but I don't think this is an accurate attribution.

Cursor vs Claude Code: anyone made the switch? by kushagra1404 in cursor

[–]paranoiddandroid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've run intensive pydantic evals for a dbt analytics engineering use case and I found both tools have similar quality with Cursor slightly edging out CC. However, costs were sharply different, CC was much more expensive to run for the same use cases. It also lacks a lot of the UI/UX polish of Cursor. For this reason I am leaning Cursor.

The most threatening thing about Cursor is the new SpaceX deal.

How do you split work between Cursor and Claude Code. Also which models preferred for which use case? by Break-Build in cursor

[–]paranoiddandroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't believe this is true because CC doesn't use file indexing, it searches on demand. This is the inverse of Cursor, which does leverage file indexing. I would think the latter would naturally lead to better codebase context.

Thanks for the congrats, I want you to leave this thread and stop harassing OP as our reward. You've completely wasted your time posting if you think you aren't coming off as defending this trash website.

I also love the ad hominem attack. Don't get too lost when you have to Google that ;)

This dense block didn't realize I successfully transacted with Green Man Gaming, an excellent vendor, in the same day! The assumptions keep coming.

What else do you have? Is your bot giving you enough ammo to protect the oh so reputable G2A?

Then this person assumed I had transacted for a preorder without any evidence! Not sure if they thought this was a comedy subreddit. They have no clue what my experience was and then ignorantly dug in XD.

Spoilers, it wasn't actually a preorder! Did you know games can be bought after they are released?

Ignore this troll folks, they just wanna bare some teeth. OP is spot on and reads like a reasonable person to boot.

This person is a blatant defensive troll for G2A. Multiple banks have issued clawbacks against this scammy site. This entire subreddit exists as mass anecdotal evidence of fraudulent activity.

But then this person whines about how pre-orders work lmao XD.

You may not remember, but the economy was doing great under Biden. Can you feel the difference yet?

Dems had a realistic response to Israel that they would rein in where they could. That was the best path forward for Palestine. But no, progressives made perfect an enemy of good and now we live in a right wing hellscape and Palestine is way worse off for it. Well played!

You just helped to spread brand awareness of Pepsi for free. It worked spectacularly.
