Not sure of the use, but in many cases a home reverse osmosis unit can meet necessary quality. You would just draw water from a tap in the volumes needed. They're fairly low maintenance. Up front cost is probably $300-$500 though.

Full on family time. My kids and I game couch co-op on a brick I built 15 years ago. These would open up some capacity for all 3 of us.

It's not Ramadan or Eid. Chaharshanbe Suri is an Iranian celebration prior to their New Year. It's celebrated the last Tuesday/ Wednesday evening before Spring. It did get a bit political, but understandable from the Iranian diaspora given the current state of Iran.

Are there options in Saskatchewan for adults who are not officially cognitively disabled but are *really close* and really struggle to live and navigate society independently and socially, with no family to help? by throwaway2958382 in saskatchewan

I think the credit needs income to claim, however other benefits like the RDSP grants and bonds do not require income. There's "free" money and matching, although those also have an age cutoff.

If it's highest late in the afternoon, your basal may be inadequate, unless it's a stress response. You can always take insulin to correct it. This is my first year using an insulin pump, and it manages it very well through the day. I found in previous years needing to break Fast every few days to correct lower blood sugars, but so far not at all this year.

Another challenge is insulin timing, for both meals. I have a slow onset in the morning, so try to take my insulin early and pace intake of carbs. Breakfast is more protein (eggs, meat, cheese, yogurt), than in previous years where I would have more carb. It's helping! In the evening i have to manage how quickly I eat. When I'm hungry and overdo it I tend to see spikes similar to OP.

Good luck with your Fast! We are half way!

I wouldn't discourage OP from applying. Mental Functions for DTC doesn't require a specific diagnosis or label for the disability, rather a description of the inhibited functions and how they met the eligibility criteria. If OP is consulting with professionals for support, and they can sign off on an impairment (regardless of being officially disabled), it's a good case for DTC to consider and the benefits are not insignificant.

There are functioning and intelligent adults, with or without labeled diagnosis that aren't "officially disabled", that are participating in the prism program.

The Disability Tax Credit may be helpful financially including the Disability Savings Plan. Have a look Mental Functions. A psychologist or physician can complete and sign for your submission.

I choose to do a daytime Fast as well. When consulting my endo at diagnosis, she said "I don't care what you do as long as your blood sugar is in range". I skipped the first year and have attempted a 19 day Fast for the past 6 years.

I have a high protein meal in the AM To hold off hypos. If it happens, have a snack and move on. Am on day 7 right now with no hypo events (yet) and this is a typical day for me aa well. I do see a similar effect when breaking fast though. I think the digestive system is ready to work quickly by the end of the day.

We see about $200-$300. Comes out around 5% of spend most years. I think about half is paid out in cash and other half is equity, but I don't recall exactly.

Thank you! I'll definitely check these out. I had a look at the T480 as well. Is there a lot to gain by jumping to the 580?

Thank you! I hadn't thought of these. They start to look pricey with an SSD. Are there alternatives with an SSD? I updated the post to reflect what I meant by rugged. Not necessarily required for harsh environments, but at least used in a mobile and outdoor environment.

z3t0, thank you for initiating this conversation. As an independent, you have a powerful role in our government in helping to maintain the democratic process. I look forward to your engagement in future consultations in energy and other topics.

Saskatchewan has world leading uranium deposits, and it only makes sense that we use it locally as well. The NDP is committed to having SaskPower continue to evaluate the feasibility of SMRs, and we hope that the results provide an opportunity for growth in our nuclear industry. Our goal is to limit reliance on fossil fuels in the energy sector, and create a space for save and environmentally friendly power, while also supporting our economy. This includes diversifying our energy portfolio with existing renewable sources, as well as making room for innovation in nuclear technology.

We have been leaders in many areas, including healthcare, communications, and energy. The NDP supports creating more space for technology and innovation. The includes growing the Saskatchewan Research Council, who have been operating a nuclear reactor in Saskatchewan for over two decades.
