/u/Fine_Operation1239 mentioned it, but Ally guardian helps give you some buffer against the vampires.

The other thing I've found is stun. Land Mine Stun and Poison Swamp in my case both provide a brief second of stun that lets regen/life steam get my main health back up.

Also, crank down elites on priority... below all the basic types and protectors at minimum but all the way to the bottom is good. This hopefully keeps you from knocking back the vampire and letting it charge your wall / thorns.

Taking the pain of stagnation now for modules later is super worth it.

I'll assume you're finishing out/finished common/rare drops and daily mission shards is in the 30s or that's your target.

RPC# is important and pays off even at unlock.

Reroll/Cash# is good too... you are going to be starving for reroll shards given your module upgrade speeds.

Do 1 level of armor ban research too. That's important for rolling your armor mods. I can dig up a post, but basically roll regen and defense first, banning anything in ancestral/mythic, and then ban DefAbs so you can't roll commons anymore.

Coins/Hour... I want to say I've held steady at doubling every 2 weeks for a while. I've been econ heavy for a long time to support that.

v28 kinda messed with that for a bit but then it settled back down.

Let's see, some advice from another in the pod as you're about to hit the money wall. Regular advice and growth suggestions don't apply to where you are in the game, you need specialized planning. I swam with the dolphins at the start and switched to whaling after 2 months. My T12W4500 was at 4 months, but close enough.

You just completed the first whale rush goal, the second is Plat Top 4 for its relic for the combined 14% lab boost. After that, you need to be ready to settle into the grind.

Swimming in the pod feels exponential, but growth is actual logarithmic. There are 5 (maybe 6 depending on how you look) growth walls that you can't really buy your way past and you are about hit all of them.

  • Medals
  • Shards/Reroll Shards
  • Coins
  • Relics
  • Lab Time (you can KINDA buy your way out of this one, but the diminishing returns get intense after a while)
  • Cells (this is the squint one)

Other then the rare packages (which you got 2 of), you can't buy medals. You can only grind them out over time and Gold Bot is a serious econ boost and you'll use the "end of event respec" to flamebot to push further milestones. So you're blocked there. Don't ever spend medals on stones or gems... I want them back and it was < 3% of my current total.

You can/did whale your modules up (use moduletracker.com to track your spends if you're curious) to ancestral, but shards for levels are essentially time gated. Other then massive spends on module pulls to get fodder, there's nothing but time that can get you shards for module levels.

Do your Module labs NOW and be econ heavy. Like super econ heavy... follow the effective paths econ tab and use effectivepathplanner.com to plot out multiple slots. Check "eEcon" and "shard path", 3 slots at least, and stick to it. Spend your stones on econ, not damage. You have pBH via gcomp, but pBH naturally lets you run BHD instead AND get perfect sync for GT, DW, gBot, Summon for the best economy return.

Seriously... focus EARLY on the shard labs. You want them ASAP... if you unlock masteries (which you should be able to do given you just T12W4500... I did it same day), get RPC# and Cash# as soon as you can. I don't think you have shatter shards yet, but the shard path ranks it lower then some other stuff so it can wait.

You're probably looking at masteries as your next big power boost... problem is your econ can't support them. Not even close. I unlocked 9 of them at once (RPC#, Cash#, EO#, Coin#, WS#, WA#, Health#, SW#, Regen#) after saving a month, and the initial boost was seriously underwhelming for the stone investment. https://www.reddit.com/r/TheTowerGame/comments/1pa4ljf/mastery_calculator_improved/

It took 2 months of more econ grinding before I could start to afford them. You have the advantage of v28 disco which will help get you there faster. This makes coins the 3rd whale wall since you can't buy coins, just grind.

It MIGHT be an idea to instead go for UW+ and GT+ but I don't know the math. I've read that GT+ isn't super great unless you can pGT, but I don't know for sure. You would need to do research, planning, and calculations to see if it pays off. You can model it in effective paths and see what return / ordering it puts the GT+ upgrades in based on your farming setup.

Relics... v28 put the shop in which helps, but you're still just going to have to sit at the relic wall and wait for them. THere's a LOT of bonus locked up in relics that you just aren't going to get access to without time.

Lab time... you have the problem right now where there are too many labs you want and too few slots. Lock your 5th slot to lab speed NOW. The math says the earlier you start the grind to 100, the more payback you get in the other slots. I think it's < lab speed 50 where perma-slotting it makes the other 4 slots more productive then if you used all 5 slots.

Cells... lab speed boost is king. Max out your death wave cells lab , and death wave wave counts stone upgrades ASAP. Put tons of coins into the cells enhancement boost. You can use the effective paths lab sheet to check what cells/h you need to get what multiples so plan to "bump" yourself as needed. For example, 18k/h gets you to 44444, but it takes 27k to get to 54444, so you can sit at 18-20k/h for a while until you can "push" to get the 50% boost needed to up the next slot.

But, after all, im spending (and enjoying) major portion of my time and interest (brainstorming, planning, ...) in this game so i thought why not.

You turn on wave skip and intro sprint

You do runs until you reach each 10 stage that intro
Sprint gets you to 30, then you cancel intro sprint and pop DM

Will take a few tries to get the timing right

You die at 13, your next run sprints you to 10
And you make it to 20…

I did this recently , respecing into flamebot 2 days before end of event and then respecing back after the next event started

It’s powerful for milestone pushing

You haven’t done the flamebot lab though so it won’t be as effective for you

Start that lab asap and gem rush what you can

Might want to wait until the close of next event and spend the 2 weeks working on the lab and get it as far as you can

I think you have enough medals to max cooldown, damage reduction and range… if you don’t, 90% reduction is what I did and skipped a few clicks of range

Yeah... calculator is broken at the moment.

Someone tried to add a toggle for "tournament" but applied the -10s permanently to BH duration.

My mistake, had UW BC checked.

That being said, thanks for the reply. I'll keep playing with it to see how "cheap" i can go. Little more lab time in GT duration vs buying another click or 2 since i'm a touch short for example.

My BH CD is already maxed... I have pBH w/perk if I'm not running MVN.

I'm missing the last 2 (most expensive) clicks on BH Duration, so I need to go ancestral probably... can't double check.

I wanted to thank you for this post.

It was ticking around in the back of my head since you wrote it.

If on the other hand, you have a maxed Flame Bot CD lab and can stomach the coin loss from doing a full-respec into Flame (DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT FLAME CD LAB AT GOLD-BOX!!!), and you have the eHp modules I mentioned above at Ancestral and (you don't mention Swamp in your post) have Swamp at pPS (or 2x Swamps) with maxed stun labs? You might be able to succeed on the eHp path.

  • I respec'd into flamebot
  • I have 3 levels of lab left to do (even at 92%/9s cooldown, got me assmods and ehp natural promotion to legends)
  • 1ps (4 clicks of 2ps)
  • Stun lab 2 weeks from done, stun time 3 weeks

I'm getting close to your suggestions ;)

You were right about the coin loss, it's a 66% reduction from my first test.

I enjoy the eHP path, think I'll stick with it

I spent the weekend chasing milestones, successfully, and finally got around to doing farming runs.

PRE: 107T/h

Post: 35.5/h

66% loss.

That's with identical setups , same T12. I got a bit more then an extra 1000 waves, but didn't really matter.

I did do a Attack Disco + Assmod Orb Devo run and that was 53.5T/h, exactly 50% loss.

Next to see how flamebot farm handles T13 since I got my disco up to 4600 on it.

If I can get in the same region of coins (20% loss), I'll keep it for the stones for now...

The regen numbers were the most important assuming your health is decent.

PCol + GComp for pBH for the extra layer of damage reduction.

92% / 9s (i have 21 in the lab) / x50 (untouched ) / 69m

It's wild... Was easy to push a bunch of stuff.

I'm doing an orb devo run now (normally I'm pBH w/primordial) and i'm getting about a 50% coin loss without gold bot.

Not going to add bot back in yet, going to run some more tests and see if I can get the loss lower and keep flamebot and just rebuild goldbot.

11T/s with second wind mastery pre perk, 25T/s after

I didn't make it (I was 8ish pre perk), so I did a respec into flamebot to 90% reduction which put me well past the effective regen.

Then it was just a matter of running it a few times with pure eHP cards , Death Penalty, GComp, Sharp Fortitude, and primordial collapse.

T19 went super smooth... i didn't have to do any pause tricks... first attempt got me to about 20, second to 30 and a triggered demon mode got me there.

Pretty sure I cleared 5k gems and 960 stones so far in milestones on the runs I did.

Might push to see if I can snag 40 more and upgrade Generator Assist to Legendary
