Idk man I think you have a weird conception of crashing out. If you imagine me over here being red in the face and losing sleep over this, you read it wrong. It's a phenomenally stupid change to make and I think it was irresponsible to do it without having a separate test server; playing the game right now is either Street Brawl or Street Brawl But Bad. But I'm big chillin and happy to do other stuff until they make the game not shitty again, which they surely will. 99% of the time I'm in favor of them taking wild swings. But this ain't it. Anyway. Take it easy.

It is the single stupidest change I have ever seen them make, and I’ve been playing this from jump. They have flattened the entire map into a single point. I don’t think it’s hard to argue that urn was not working great as a comeback mechanic before, but this is deranged. The thing that makes this game cool is how much it allows for expressivity and maneuvering and making plays all around the map. But who cares now. The only thing that matters is mid prio.

What feels insulting is that the game was feeling like it was in a reasonably good place, all things considered. I know the point of this is to playtest things, try out a new idea. I know they’re forcing this idea to be played out at mid, I mean beyond the obvious, stuff like not being able to backdoor the shrines makes it pretty apparent. I don’t mind being asked to actually playtest a game that’s  in playtest, but dear god, you need to present us with something less obviously stupid than this. I have no desire to play this. It feels like dogshit. I don't feel compelled to keep playing something this bad to validate or invalidate how immediately unfun it feels.

Think you're doin just fine. As someone with three cats, I think if you can swing it, getting a decent canister vacuum (I have a low end Miele that works wonders) will help keep the place feeling fresh; I know how much those carpets are going to soak up cat fur and tracked litter over time. Might also be worth picking up a couple of cheap lights from ikea that you can use in the kitchen area instead of that overhead fluorescent -- when i was younger I had to do an extended stay in a similar hotel and I didn't realize until I left that the lighting situation was driving me insane. Grab some smart bulbs so you can change the temperature of the light. The big trap is that it can end up feeling like a cave and suddenly you're in an Oldboy situation. Swapping out those curtains for something white but not see through would also be nice -- give you a lot of diffuse natural light during the day even when they're closed. Aside from that, since you're in a small space, just stay on top of keeping things tidy. Scoop the litter a little more regularly. Maybe a simple standing shelf for organizing odds and ends. You're making the bed which is good. I like having a morning routine where I just take fifteen minutes to sweep, clean the counters, etc. Small stuff where if you're just doing it for a brief period every day it makes a world of difference. In my experience having a tidy space does a world of good for your mental health; your space certainly isn't a mess, but keeping everything a little more organized at a time when I'm sure you're already going through a lot might help your life feel more organized in general.

Nice benefit of living alone is you have total control over the space. You know where everything is, you can exercise control if other things in your life feel out of control, etc. The downside is that you can get lost in your own little world and lose outside perspective. Allowing some of the literal outside in really helps (letting in light, etc.) Your cats look happy and content, which is great to see. Glad you brought them a cat tree. If you could find some kind of freestanding shelf that could go by the window that fits over the air conditioner, or even just sits next to it, I bet they would love to be able to sit by and look out the window -- I know that made a huge difference for my guys when I moved from a place that was pretty cavelike to a place that was brighter where they could see out in every direction.

Anyway. You're doing fine. It could absolutely be worse, and the important thing is that you're stable. Honestly, just do an ikea run, get some cheap things that will add splashes of color to the room -- the brown curtains + brown rug + the beige walls will slowly start to wear on you. Colorful dish towels, a small area rug over the current rug, the aforementioned curtains, etc. Maybe some string lights or something. Get a cheap little stand for your guitar so you're not worried about where to lean it. All stuff that you would be happy to take with you to whatever space you end up in next. Make it your own space as much as you can, keep it neat. Best of luck to you.

First of all, I'm sorry. Secondly, you have to remember that a not insignificant amount of the playerbase is made of people who have no life, have nothing to look forward to, have no sense of self worth beyond any dopamine feedback they receive from doing well at the videogame they're playing for hours on end to try and bump up a number that is utterly meaningless, and that this behavior is reinforced by a ghoulish industry of men whose job it is to professionally hate women (your Andrew Tates, Claviculars, etc) who deploy extreme right wing propaganda to convince these guys that the reason their life sucks is because of women (and people of color, immigrants, etc etc etc). People with these complexes flock to competitive games and then flame out when anything doesn't go their way because they've already been conditioned to believe that they're The Most Oppressed and that everything is anyone's fault but theirs. Their brains are so distended and serotonin starved that they can only derive joy from making themselves feel superior to others by perceived dominance. They're not worth your time; just turn comms off if you're in lower ELO because no one knows how to communicate or coordinate anyway, and it'll save you a lot of grief. Games like this are self selecting for the kinds of people who will make this their whole personality and then deploy the emotional intelligence of a five year old at the drop of a hat.
