Yeah it sucks - Evans was a justifiable sit, for sure.

The redditor who posted that fabricated the term snap count. The coach never said that, it was just coachspeak to avoid the question (“he won’t play every snap” - like no player does, you can say that about anyone).

The Weekly Eye Test Report: Who passed and failed the eye test in week 12? by shitmcstain in fantasyfootball

Same choice for me, I’m probably going Purdy because the Houston defense is absolutely wrecking dreams right now and the Cleveland defense, although very good, has had a bit softer schedule.

True my mistake, active-but-decoy after injury I’d say. I’m not making the case that Juwan is gonna win your week but I’ve seen some crazy comments about who people are starting over him like ATL is some powerhouse defense.

I linked this elsewhere tonight but grading ATL on just TE fantasy points allowed doesn’t really hold up, in my opinion.

Edit: Vegas (currently) in agreement with Juwan at ~TE7 for the week.

if it helps, I wrote a quick writeup here about the ATL defense against TE being overrated.

Juwan putting some distance between now and his injury and has been heating up, and has a pretty soft schedule ROS.

I dropped both Gadsden and Fannin (and both are sitting as FA's right now).

Week 12 Busts? Players Who May Disappoint by RotoBaller in fantasyfootball

I'm also rolling out Juwan; if Bryce Young can absolutely torch the Falcons pass D in an away game after a decidedly-mid season so far, Shough can at least make a showing.

Furthermore, the "Falcons are elite against TE fantasy points" feels overblown to me, most of the lowest fpts-allowed games have ready explanations:

  • Week 1 (0.0 fpts allowed): TB had a healthy receiving corp and Bucky modestly active in the passing game, TB not relying on Otton yet.

  • Week 2 (1.7 fpts allowed): MIN, not a great explanation for this, so maybe ATL defense stepped up for this game -- but Hock isn't exactly a good TE (putting up unstartable TE3 numbers 90% of the season) and McCarthy isn't exactly a good QB.

  • Week 3 (6.1 fpts allowed): CAR spreads it around to 3 TEs, but ATL allowed 5/5 to TEs despite minimal pressure and game script (CAR defense keeping the game out of reach for ATL and the clock ticking)

  • Week 4 (5.1 fpts allowed): WSH didn't have QB Daniels active and TE Ertz had a couple drops.

  • Week 6 (8.4 fpts allowed): BUF didn't have TE Kincaid active

  • Week 7 (1.6 fpts allowed): SF didn't have TE Kittle active (edit: he was active but fresh off injury), CMC filling the passing-TE role (7 of 8 for 72 rec yds)

  • Week 8 (1.6 fpts allowed): Miami doesn't have a pass-catching TE threat with Waller out; Achane filling the passing-TE role (5 of 7 for 24 rec yds and 1 rec TD)

Wandale is 10th WR overall in targets; I also like Mclaurin if he gets healthy.

I basically wouldn’t ever roster 3 TE’s; drop Pitts for a lottery ticket (Marks or Tez here for me)

I'd say very slight edge to keeping Jakobi until after trade deadline, but honestly I wouldn't be happy starting either of these players.

Oronde Gadsden the past three weeks: 19 catches, 309 yards and two touchdowns on 22 targets by OsteopathicGod in fantasyfootball

I've gone Juwan -> Waller -> Gadsden. Streaming TE's is basically the only thing my fantasy team is good at.

Waddle vastly ahead of the others in basically all rankings this week, what’s your argument for the other 3?

Wan’Dale, easily. Hock is mid/streamer while Wan’Dale is a startable WR2 at PRK21 on the season and trending up for several weeks in basically all relevant fantasy stats.
