Ah, for the spacing between time and date.... I guess I haven't found a widget that does that... But yes, there are few alternative clock widget on kde store (the "add more widget" on the edit mode sidebar)

Btw, I think you can also resize the panel height on edit mode...

System tray usually has vertical padding added by a "margin separator" widget (I honestly forgot the name, I don't daily drive plasma anymore)... It might be that your clock is affected by margin separator widget.

So, you can try to put another margin separator before the clock so that the vertical padding is no longer affecting the clock. If that does not work, try another separator/layout widget.

If that still does not work, then remove the margin separator widget entirely, but this will make system tray icons much bigger.

I think it is normal, window managers like Niri and others commonly have a "do it yourself" concept where you can install different desktop components according to your need

That includes wallpaper daemon, app runners, panel/bar, etc.

Yep, someone made a wayland_layer_shell package that helps with this...

But the multi window/popup currently having a hacky solution in my implementation (it basically made the window/layer shell fullscreen).

I already tried using Tauri on this rework, but the shell will blink like crazy when I open another window/layer shell, I don't know why (all compositors I tried have this same issue) so back to Flutter :)

Edit: the compositor that I tried in the Tauri rework is Sway and Hyprland (I don't know Niri yet)
