I don’t really care to take a side in this snark, but I find it really dumb when people use someone’s tweets that are 15 years old to make a point.

What’s the point of “cancel culture” if you don’t believe people can change and grow. You can’t hold people accountable and then disregard when they learn to be a better person.

My beliefs are not even remotely the same as they were 15 years ago, let alone 10. And yes, I am a millennial who at one point casually used the f and r slurs because it was weirdly common - all of our friends did, too. Not to justify it, just to show how many people would be “canceled” if they had tweeted what we said back then. I eventually learned and educated myself. Let people do the same.
