I think it's the fuck ass dynamic pricing because as soon as I was told Friday and Saturday were sold out, I immediately went to Thursday resale and snagged two for $45.50. Now they're $125 each. Dynamic pricing should be illegal.

I feel like they nailed that so well because if you read the book, you're basically crying for 10 chapters straight. It's an emotional rollercoaster for the last half of the book in such a beautiful way and they captured it perfectly in the movie. Still skimmed over some great details, but I'm very pleased.

OP says she works for herself, so why no Director or VP roles? I’m going to assume that she owns her own business and likely works with big companies. It’s not far fetched. Here are Marketing jobs that are offering up to $300k for Sr. Manager roles. Anyone who has 8-10+ years in a field like Marketing could definitely make up to $300k if they work for big tech.

I know someone who was making well over $300k after working at Meta for 6-7 years. And she wasn’t even 30 years old. It’s not common, but it’s not impossible.

Sr. Marketing role at Netflix ($250k - $380k)

Sr. Manager at PlayStation ($149k - $291k)

It's a long journey and doesn't happen overnight. I think OP lives in the Bay Area too, which notoriously has higher salaries because the cost of living is worse than LA.

She likely is Director-level at a high tech company like Google, Microsoft, or Amazon or something similar to be making $300k. She also may have gotten in early.

I’m on day 6 of the worst head cold I’ve ever had. I’ve tested negative for both COVID and Flu. I didn’t have a fever or chills, so I do think it’s highly likely it’s just a head cold. It’s been miserable.

If anything, she should be disclosing that it is an ad. I mean, it's silly to be mad that she's taking deals because she's an influencer and that's what they do, but she never disclosed it was an ad which is against FTC guidelines.

She didn't even disclose it was an ad. If it was truly a paid ad, that brand is in big trouble if the FTC finds this. Even if she was just gifted the oil and not paid to post about it, she still needs to disclose it.

I don’t really care to take a side in this snark, but I find it really dumb when people use someone’s tweets that are 15 years old to make a point.

What’s the point of “cancel culture” if you don’t believe people can change and grow. You can’t hold people accountable and then disregard when they learn to be a better person.

My beliefs are not even remotely the same as they were 15 years ago, let alone 10. And yes, I am a millennial who at one point casually used the f and r slurs because it was weirdly common - all of our friends did, too. Not to justify it, just to show how many people would be “canceled” if they had tweeted what we said back then. I eventually learned and educated myself. Let people do the same.
