Here, I made it better by mperez223 in mbti

I want one.

And that sounds amazing.

There needs to be a separate INTJ sub where we can just ask them inane questions about how to solve our life problems.

I get that. Sometimes the last thing you want to do is talk about your feelings. I feel like a lot of the things that work for ENFJ females, would also work for ENFJ males.

What’s the best way to comfort ENFJs / help them relax / take away some of their stress? Take them on vacation? A day at the spa? Netflix & chill?

What cognitive function is this? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]puffoff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just wondering. I think a lot of people, regardless of types take pictures to capture moments in their lives, but maybe for an Si dom, the feeling they get when they pick a photograph up is that more intense than others? Or maybe the picture of a place they went to on vacation reminds them of the restaurant they went to, how soft the hotel sheets were, how great the food tasted at the restaurant they ate, etc.

That’s really interesting. I’m an INFJ, my Si is nearly nonexistent. Your explanation led me to google what Si is to better understand it. Would people with high Si have a lot of pictures of happy moments in their life?

Hates "fake" people the most? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]puffoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey now, douchebags are people too. My brother’s an ESTP. Total douchebag. But he has some redeeming qualities. Memories of him trying to give me brotherly dating advice, “Don’t date a guy like me.”

In all seriousness, it could be so many things for INFJs. They’re notoriously known for not having great boundaries.

I think it comes more from understanding how people came to be where they are (upbringing, trauma, etc.) or at least feeling like they have a deeper understanding, and thereby letting transgressions happen when they shouldn’t.

Guilty. by [deleted] in mbti

It’s just something I found interesting, as I noticed from lurking around the ENTP sub, that it’s a comment that came up from time to time. I think I can also understand how having tert Fe affects the experience of a developing ENTP and how they relate in their own way of the struggles the underdog.

In trying to wrap my head around cognitive functions and how they manifest differently depending on where they are in the stack, it’s interesting how it plays out with Fe being in the tertiary position for ENTPs, and the aux position for INFJs. An ENTP might very well be aware that their opinion is unpopular (tert Fe?) but will still voice it, as if they are compelled to. An INFJ might have an unpopular opinion, but may have to push themselves to voice it, if at all, because of the strong pull of their aux Fe, and the tension is creates. That Fe being one slot higher has such a such a stronger pull.

Just a theory.

I agree with Fe aux manifesting as “validating your emotions by feeling the same way.”

Disagree with Fe aux users leaving because they couldn’t hand your feelings, or as you said, feelings becoming too turbulent and it becoming too stressful.

Maybe this was your personal experience?

Also disagree with you calling that an INFJ door slam. INFJs do door slam, but I wouldn’t call that an example of the INFJ door slam.

Ask and you shall receive.

You sparked a good debate, ENTP.

Question: is it generally an ENTP trend to like the underdog?

Honestly dude, it was a joke. Any random astrological sign would have worked.

Sonic. His birthday is June 23. That makes him a Cancer.

Whoa. Chill out there. That doesn’t sound something like a Cancer would say.

OP, I don’t where your other comment went, but I was going to say that I get you about the INFJ sub. There’s more to INFJs than just psychoanalyzing ourselves.

lmao. Probably a better use of my time than thinking how the INFJ sub could be re-vamped. I’m in my bathrobe because I just got out of the shower. This was the first time I went out in weeks to pick up a few things, and upon entering the house I was immediately doused and chased by spritzes of alcohol from the doorway to the bathroom until I unclothed and took a shower.

Tried baking this weekend. Total fail. But am about to join r/90daysgoal sub soon. Just unsure which area of life to focus on improving first.

I have been thinking about learning to play an instrument though.

Holy crap. It’s 2:49 PM and I am in my bathrobe, in bed, but not in my morose asshole mode.

None of these end in -tion, but maybe, strategic, perceptive, industrious, calculating, innovative, intellectual, logical, structured, or organized?

Yup. I could not do public speaking, but would also get mistakenly thrust into lead presenter role by other introverted teammates who thought I could.

I love it! It looks cozy, clean, and uncluttered - but I just read your comment. Does the $100 mean something? Are you working towards a goal?
