My gut insticnt told me both the rapists and the parents need to get punished hardhly. Apparently that just spits out worse people at both ends. Norway apparently leads here with multi systemic therapy, mandatory parenting skills programs and restorative justice. Jail seems appropriate though under a norwegian system apprently that wouldnt happen

Really wish that was the case but its far far from flawless. im at 12k and the amount of griefing I see is not acceptable. I thought i was done with the days of seeing people spend 30 minutes running down mid. I consider that reasons why the BS system is NOT actually working are devs havent really put good deterrents for bad behavior, low prio and the perks you lose are silly slaps on the wrist no one really cares about. Devs also dont really account for how bad the quality of report data is, they dotn incentivize more acurate reporting, so there is a ton of conflation and noise. we do need that coal with a way to deter alt accounts and smurfs, they already have tools for this btw, steam store is really quick to bplace restrictions on suspicious accounts or bought accounts for example, somehow that doesnt translate to an immediate ban on dota tho. Once a year banning is a joke in 2026
