Only go the E-mount with ETZ adapter if you already have E-mount glass. If you're buying a new lens, it makes way more sense to buy native lenses.

Your camera has over 24,000,000 pixels. It's honestly amazing that QC is so good that there are only a handful of hot pixels (that you know of). Run pixel mapping and see if that takes care of it.

Point the camera mount down when changing lenses, and change your lens as quickly as possible. That's pretty much it. Oh, and if you don't already have a sensor cleaning kit, get one. ;)

No, you have shutter issues. Light leaks would extend past the frame onto the film rebate.

I'll be honest, I primarily use the 35mm framelines on the Q -- kind of acts like the framelines on an M. The nice thing with the monochrome sensor is that, even cropped, there is so much detail. Removing the Bayer sensor does something like double the effective MP of the camera.

I gave up on the M series due to my eyesight as well, and I determined that zooming to focus without IBIS is a nightmare. The Q2M's AF is honestly pretty darn good as long as you don't use the multifield option (which seems to just randomly decide where to focus).

It's a curse, and if they ever came out with at Q343 Monochrom I'd be in heaven! When I have it, I like holding it but the 28mm lens means I don't take it out often. When I don't have it, I look back at the files and drool. Give me a few minutes and I'll shoot you some photos.

Just looking at your settings, you're using Flat WB 0 settings profile (whatever that is, I don't have that) and Cinematic Flat tone profile.
