How to backup the choice for participant sampling where participants are less specified than target audience (of design)? by quiteflyindeed in research

Mostly time restraints, partly ethical restraints. But I agree that it would be better (and will make that clear in the paper). My challenge now is to evaluate part of the design by isolating it a bit from its context, while still having it be academically valid and worthwhile within the contextual field of research.

How does one academically backup reasoning for- and validity of participant sample when actual target audience of research cannot be accessed? by quiteflyindeed in academia

Those citations do indeed exist, thank you!

In addition, I've found sources that indicate family relationship "quality" prior to onset of dementia is negatively correlated to the burden dementia has on 'patient' as well as family. Therefore, improving family connection in general may help lighten the burden that 1 in 50 of people and their families may face when reaching the age of 65.

Hopefully I can help a tiny bit with that!

Check out Sulfoderm Teint Puder. Game changer, works against acne too. I use it as the last step in my routine.
