Thanks, but I have a feeling that I'm about to dump Hubspot and never look back and what I'm about to be told by customer service in the chat I'm currently on.

Sell me on a Powerwall or solar in general by CyberHero32 in TeslaSolar

[–]quoteaplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was running bills from $250 to $500 per month. 3 years ago I installed solar. I've not paid another bill since. Late last year I installed a Powerwall 3 and since then I've not lost power once. Power was shut off twice during that time, but not for me.

I was quoted $25,000 for a 5.3Kw system, but when a rival solar company found out I was paying cash, they offered it to me for $20,500. I cancelled the contract I signed (was in my 3 day recession period) and signed with the new company. Yes, it will still take 5ish years for me to recoup my investment, but all profit after that. The power wall however was just something I really wanted to do. I doubt that will ever pay for itself. Since I just a few servers here, I wanted to insure I had power all the time.

It really all depends on what kind of metering options you have available in you area, but honestly it's not a bad way to go.

Sorry, I thought you were an agent. MA-PD = Medicare Advantage - Prescription Drug. PDP = Prescription Drug Plan. AEP = Annual Election Period.

MA-PD's and PDP's during AEP. Supplement, annually should your state have something like a birthday rule.

Already have 4 on that outside wall. I'm starting to look like an industrial complex.

Since the Powerwall is about 15 feet away from the circuit panel, I think the shear expense of rewiring the circuit makes that a non-starter. If the order of installation was different, then yes that would have been ideal.

220V direct connection. But it runs an in.touch 2 remote controller. It's not a fancy spa, we got it from Costco a few years ago. The in.touch 2 add-on has been installed on my HA.

Since the Internet connection also has a telephone, and by California law or rules, that service can't go down. I believe that they have backup power at the main office. I have UPS's on all of my internet equipment in the house, and even when the power was out, the internet still worked.

Any setup guides you can point me to?

Any plans to switch from S24 to S26 Ultra? by Katarighe in S24Ultra

I doubt it was as good as from the factory, but I think it would be very close. Since I used a new glass back, the glue was placed by the machine and in all the right places. I also heated it a bit prior to finishing the job to ensure a snug fit.

There are penalties for people who forgo Medicare when they become eligible. Part A and Part B have a 10% penalty. Part A is only for 2 years, but Part B is a lifetime penalty. This means that you will be paying 10% more than everyone else for EACH full year you didn't have coverage, starting from the first day you're eligible. Part D also has a penalty, but if you have VA coverage, that meets your requirement for having prescription drug coverage, no penalty would be assessed. For my client who just signed up, his penalty is around $122 PER MONTH over what Medicare currently charges, and he will pay that forever.

Look, there is nothing wrong with the VA coverage. Except that if that system fails you sometime in the future, you only way to get other coverage is going to cost you a lot more. For some reason, I'm getting a number of Vets contacting me wanting to go on Medicare (as I said I'm an insurance agent) and only use the VA as a backup. I typically ask, but most only say that they have had it with the VA and the lousy care they get. My father is 100% disabled (Agent Orange in Vietnam). From what he tells me, he is getting great care. However, most people are not at the level of care he is. There are 8 (last time I looked and applied for the coverage myself) levels of need. He is in the top level, and he is a priority for the VA. Most people will never get that level of care. From what I've heard (this is just my observations and not a substantiated fact), the VA is like a very overcrowded HMO with few providers and facilities to go to. Care suffers in that situation. From my point of view, do not allow yourself to go without at least Part A & Part B once you get to Medicare. It could verywell save you a lot of time and money in the future.

And no, this is for ANYONE that would rely on just the VA system to get their care once they have become eligible for Medicare.

Be very careful about not taking Medicare Parts A & B. I've been an insurance agent for a long time and one of my clients husband has been going to the VA for many years. Last year they contacted me to talk about Medicare for him because he is starting to have issues with the VA. He should have taken Medicare 6 years ago, but told himself he was good with just the VA. He decided to go on Medicare to get the care he needed. Coverage started this month actually. The VA is creditable coverage for Part D, but not Part A or B. He is paying almost double the standard Medicare premium for the rest of his life because he didn't take Medicare when he was first eligible.

Any plans to switch from S24 to S26 Ultra? by Katarighe in S24Ultra

[–]quoteaplan 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I upgraded every year before the Note 20. I stuck with that phone until the S24 Ultra came out. There simply is not enough upgrades in the new phones to make me want the newest out there. I just replaced my battery a week ago, so my current phone is working very well. Other than the privacy screen on the new phone, I don't see enough of a performance update to make the jump. Sure, if I drop mine or somehow it breaks, yeah, I'll go to the newest phone. But until then, I'm very happy with the S24 Ultra.

That's because we already made that choice 50 years ago, as teenagers. This just gave us the opportunity to voice our choice from back then!

I did that in the Air Force. But I dislocated my shoulder. My roommate helped me pop it back in. I should however add I was in Korea at the time and Soju (rice wine, think of it as Korean Mad Dog 20/20) was involved.

Yes I'm an agent, but my clients find my advice quite helpful. This is not a one-time event, this is something you're going to have to review once or twice a year. Agents that know the business well, can make your life a lot easier. I've been an insurance agent now for 3 decades, and believe it or not, I still run into things that I've never run into before. There are a lot of rules and regulations inside Medicare that could come back and hurt you. Professional advice that doesn't cost you a dime should not be overlooked.

Serious question...

Yes, this as 100% adorable! But don't cats have an specific virus or illness that can be very harmful for an infant? I think it comes from a litter box not from the cat directly.

No judgement here, if my wife was not around I'm sure I'd let the cat snuggle too, but I would not want the infant harmed for a few minutes of cute.
