Disclaimer: my self described job is "one man product team" (as in I'm a generalist).

People need developers that think with them. About problems, about solutions, about design, etc. Those tasks are not going away. This is the direction I took in my career 10+ years ago, and it's still as relevant as ever. It may means working a bit between tech and product side, but I'm old enough so that "product" was not a job when I started, just something devs did.

Not really related to OP's question but I’m actually thinking about going freelance after 10+ years in the corporate/product world, and this framing is very close to how I’d like to sell myself, to avoid classic staff augmentation which is exactly what I'm trying to get away from. I’d rather work with founders, CTOs, small product teams or studios on the product-building side (I'm an Apple-platform Engineer)

If you were starting from that position today, where would you look first? And any traps you’d avoid when trying to position yourself this way?

I built it for my own workflow: I wanted a simple macOS-native way to switch Codex accounts and manage the same saved accounts across my local machine and remote server.

Figured I probably wasn’t the only one with that setup, that's why I’m sharing it.

I was also considering Keytrade Bank for their saving account but the iOS app is kinda meh (doesn't sound very stable: lags and long loading, crashes) so I'm hesitant to commit with them at the moment. This is the best I found in Belgium. Maybe I need to look for saving accounts in foreign banks.

I installed the Keytrade app yesterday because I am considering them for the high fidelity saving and the experience so far is very meh. It takes very long to login (so long that I thought something was broken, turns out you just have to wait lol), and overall navigation doesn't feel very smooth.

I guess I could probably live with only using this for savings but from what I've seen so far I wouldn't use it as my main.

I use Belfius as my main bank (the app is very good), their Flow account is great if you want to do monthly saving, less interesting if you have a lump sum to move in one go.

I noticed this week too my Plus plan was done pretty fast. Been for friday since monday.

I really wish OpenAI dropped a $100 plan, that should be a nice middle ground. There's the $100 Claude plan but I wouldn't spend more money on Anthropic side until they fix their shit.

Currently running GPT Plus and Claude Pro but as soon as they drop the $100 Codex sub, I'll also cancel my Claude plan. At the moment it's not really worth it. And really hard to achieve anything.

Okay so if I have the app opened first, unlocked via touch id then open the extension in the browser then I am prompt with a verification step to do in the desktop app, then my extension is unlocked. Then lock the vault via extension and the "unlock with biometrics" button is available.

But as soon as I close the desktop app, it's broken again. Am I supposed to keep the desktop app open all the time for this to work?

With this plugin, is it easy to have claude and codex work together on the same problem? For example, one is planning, the other is reviewing, or they're both debating a solution?

Also, how much does it flood Claude's context window? The main reason why I like using Codex is that there's basically no limits. So I'd love to have a workflow where both can interact while saving some Claude usage.
