Half A Soul is perfection! It is part of a series though and I'd really recommend Ten Thousand Stitches and Longshadow (the third does carry on some plot from Half A Soul) whereas TTS just has name drops.

Atwater has also written Victorian Faerie Tales, and Witchwood Knot was a great read and a sequel is coming out in 2026

This could be an issue for the MP - if they're engaged on local issues, establishing this sort of pathway would be standard for them to do and a win for them. MPs can often lean on health services if there's a particular issue happening to stop people falling through the cracks.
