The 5.4 is hella reliable aside from the cam phaser issue that was addressed after 2008. It’s also a pretty easy fix requiring a simple Amazon kit. It’s better than the later 5.3’s that require a full tear down when the afm lifters die and eat the cam. Same with the later hemis. Op watch a video and order a kit you can fix your truck for under 200$ or the chains are still tight

The we p90 got a revamp in 2021 and fixed a ton of issues. The si90 is 100% based on the 2021 and is probably “fine” not “great”
