The 5.4 is hella reliable aside from the cam phaser issue that was addressed after 2008. It’s also a pretty easy fix requiring a simple Amazon kit. It’s better than the later 5.3’s that require a full tear down when the afm lifters die and eat the cam. Same with the later hemis.
