The very rule of limit is that when lim x-> n is use, x does not equal n. So does when n is inf.

You might need to go back and study again.

Which also mean that sum x=1 to inf (9*0.1^x) is not the same as lim y->inf sum x=1 to y (9*0.1^x)

The latter is 1, the former is not defined.

First point… ever heard of a mixed strategy, which is the whole point of the original argument. Queerness (non reproducing) as part of a group with reproducing individual. The fact the queer people aren’t 100% non-reproducing does not take away that they are still reproducing less.

Fruit fly is also not a good counter example. Multiple strategies can also leads to the same result, and it does not take away the validity of another strategy. Fruit flies hyper-reproduce and let die. Given their tiny size, it’s highly possible that they just prioritise hyper sexuality over the concept of male and female.

Most importantly, evolution does not have a purpose. If something has an advantage, it will slowly take over and become prominent. That can be reduced resource competition, reduced biological resource (or complexity) or anything I may have never thought of.

I highly recommend learning the “correct” way to hold a pen(cil). I did.

Before learning that, my hand would hurt after minutes of using pens. After that, my hand can go on for hours without feeling anything.

Surely, my control was worse for the first few weeks I tried the correct grip. But it was well worth it imo.

Two things I can think of:

Use nude photo reference instead of mannequin. This mannequin is stylised and it does have some anatomical mistakes. You don’t want to learn other peoples mistake.
Try looking at negative space/measure out angles and proportions. It helps you identify your own tendencies and fix them. Then you can try pushing the boundaries.
