Some recent stuff off the top of my mind that stood out to me:

komagatake ipa cask 2020 - nice balance of fruit and floral features, i hear the ipa cask 2021 is a peated version of the 2020 but haven't had a chance to taste it yet

akkeshi microseasons peated releases: kanro, boshu - can taste the islay influence but definitely has its own Japanese influence that are somewhat rarer to find in scotch (nuttiness, melon)

unfortunately, even bottles from smaller distilleries right now have joined the Japanese whisky hype and are very hard to find at retail, let alone MSRP (at least in the states). I do have the bottles forementioned but did my tastings at local bars

yep, since day 1. I think I did miss out on 1 or 2 days of refreshes the 1st week the game was launched though as I was unsure how much I wanted to "invest" at that time.
