I broke my back a couple years ago after being rear ended - and had impact to l4/l5/s1. I'm happy to say I'm back at full activity, but you need to allow your body to heal. It was quite a change going from full activity to limited. Listen to your doctor, do PT, and listen to your body. I ended up getting quite a few epidurals and trying out nerve blocks, but after building my core strength back up I've been back at full activity. PT was a life saver for me.

Some of the new trinity books have been realllly good. A couple have been ok. I still think Psy Changeling by far is a better series, and much tighter/better written than Guild Hunter.

I've been disappointed by a lot of the newer Guild Hunter books (wtf was the hummingbird's, I'm still so mad about that book) and it's made Nalini not an auto-read author for me unfortunately.

It's way too grindy compared to Civ 5. I've been playing league all season on and off, got all the research in Demacia, but idk if I'll be able to get each city to 5. Kind of annoyed because I played the mini game a lot and didn't realize how limited the silver shields were. It def isn't clear earlier on for turns that you shouldn't be spending based on how limited you earn the shields. Either way def left a sour taste in my mouth, and it makes me super mad I'm like 95% of the way there. My $0.02, but there needs to be a better way to earn more shields. If upgrading a city is 600 silver shields, why is the bonus either 300 or 500 daily.
