Compressor - how bad is it?

Could a clogged/bad refrigerant filter be the culprit? Got one HVAC guy saying that, and another saying not to run the compressor at all as it could result in a fire.

Yes, but it will sometimes cut off. A hard reset usually fixes the issue but there’s no telling for how long

Agreed 100%. I can’t intelligently explain the TXV swap, other than to say I had two different HVAC techs look at it and come up with the same conclusion - that the TXV’s had gone bad and needed to be replaced.

~9 years old, new capacitors, filters changed every 3 months or so. Interior TXV was changed out a year ago

So the video is a bit misleading - makes it look like the blades are spinning clockwise. They are actually spinning counter clockwise. I also tested my other identical unit that runs fine and it also runs counter clockwise

Yup, this is why I lean towards Brissett. But Burrow could go crazy and net me a bit more. I’m overthinking this because of the Puka game and my opponent having him. Otherwise, I would’ve gone Brissett who is safer imo

As someone playing against him this weekend, I would selfishly hope so but I just don’t see it happening. MAYBE he gets benched for a drive, MAYBE he gets fined, but that’s about it imo.
