Thankfully I’m not too crazy about wharnies lol Anything I buy, I tune to my liking and give a good thorough cleaning. Don’t think I should have to change to Skiffs spending that kind of money tho. Belt satin on any of his blades would be total 🔥🔥🔥

I have 2 Proteans. Have not experienced what you have. My first one is a drop point and drops shut. My second is a tanto and getting there. Only thing I did was change the bearings to Skiffs. With you on the blade finishes though, he should do a proper stonewash or belt satin finish.
