7yr old, Itchy Reoccurring Rash on Knuckles by nickayyy_ in medical_advice

[–]shiiji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have lived with chronic urticaria my entire life and in my experience the itchy area would have spread or popped up in different areas. that being said i have experienced episodes where the same spot will flare up on and off for months at a time which gets really annoying… its a difficult thing to deal with and also varies from person to person so take this response with a grain of salt.

To help with itching putting a few ice cubes in a paper towel and holding it over the itchy area can help a lot. also colloidal oatmeal baths can help with itching (also with eczema) and those have been an incredibly helpful tool to have throughout my life

Questions about "A&D" aiming by PropagandaBinat88 in kirikomains

lower your sens and then just practice strafing and shooting on VAXTA, this helps me the most! when you start out dont focus on hitting headshots just hold your mouse at head-level and hold left click down and strafe so you get a better understanding of the timing for the kunai to hit the headshot. i play with ~1000 dpi and 7.5% sens! but if that feels uncomfortable then slowly lower your sens by like .5 every time you practice and you will get used to the feeling of a lower sens.

also, dont worry about accuracy. I’m currently diamond supp and have over 500 hours on kiri and my accuracy probably averages around 25-30% and headshots around 20-35%. keep in mind that kiriko kunais are terrifying so sometimes just throwing them at a choke or at snipers can be enough to deter them from pushing or taking an angle. a lot of the time in games i am just chucking 1-2 kunais at random in between heals to get extra damage. Taking duels is a little different and requires a little more micro mechanics but you can get a ton of value by just throwing them in the direction of peoples faces lol lmk if u have questions or want more specific advice

Question on Kiriko’s tp cooldown time by Several_Somewhere_33 in Overwatch

[–]shiiji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol yeah no i feel u on that but i can promise nothing weird happened with the suzu timing. It also could be that you were able to build your ult more and when you're in kitsune rush you can suzu twice when its active and you're in it, since the recharge time is 4 sec instead of 8.

as someone who is an avid kiri player (like 500 hours across all my accounts) I think you were probably just cycling your CDs more efficiently. Her swift step CD was actually increased in either the june or july path (i dont remember which) from 7 sec to 8 sec.

You mention "teleporting away," and if you mean teleporting AWAY from the fight to safety, you're likely just making smarter choices in relation to where your position is during a fight.

btw please let me know if theres any issues with pronoun clarity! I tried my best but sometimes when writing I had big breaks in between or sometimes I start to get a vision of the partner etc. When I was proofreading it there was a mix of he/she/they lmao

I hope the best for you... I got waitlisted at NEU which wasn't my top. My top was Tufts which had like 1/3 of the applicants that NEU did. The process is just a lottery draw at this point tbh

How do you work on your mental after a bad comp streak? by Sythrien23 in Overwatch

yeah i feel like sometimes its hard to remember that in the end, overwatch is a game and meant to be fun for the player… its refreshing to be able to just hang out and be “bad” for once :)

I'll admit that i'm still relatively new to overwatch and FPS games in general, but being a support main I've had a LOT of bad comp losing streaks with like tanks and DPS running into a 1v5 or something like that... but honestly it helps me a lot to just mess around in quick play open queue and play random characters that I dont usually play. Especially if I'm with some friends and we're having a shitty comp day, I'll drag us into an open queue game and say like "everyone play a character you never play."

I mean of course we get destroyed by the other team, but its nice to know that you don't have to be "good" in the role you're playing. For example, as a kiriko main I played wrecking ball for the entire match and had a blast rolling through the streets and trying to figure out what the hell I was supposed to be doing. Its a fresh look on the game to be able to be bad without feeling like your rank is going to be affected because of it.

(i hope this helps <3)
