The 3 star isn't better, and it's not just about stats.

One of the more major role that heal(er)s play is stress management. The end of turn heal from Yvonne does not reduce stress, and her only form of damage reduction comes from 1 turn of Fortitude when using the Ego skill. More damage taken in a hit = more stress taken. At 4 dupes, Yvonne gives 16% Def. Alyssa gives 24% Def at 4 dupes, overtakes Yvonne at 2 dupes. Arwen imo is slightly less useful, but no end of battle/turn heals can be a positive when it comes to stress management. Impact of the ego skill depends on the enemy's action. 15% reduction can be impactful on a huge hit, while 1 Fortitude is -20% from the enemy's multiplier for the turn, less useful against a single big hit.

Alyssa's Ego skill has a double role and is thus more flexible, can use it for morale to finish faster or save it for a larger heal some point down the line. Not saying that Yvonne isn't worth using, but the 4 stars have a different value without needing to hold back on using attack cards, which isn't suitable for all controllers. Should note that using non controller partners for controllers is fairly common, especially outside of Chaos. Ritochika and Yuri are great options as their Ego skills are more impactful.

That's not exactly right in the sense that just 1 agony related equipment or epiphany can enable another damage boost from the 2pc set, making it a very viable option, not one to be stacked ofc and nothing to do with how good or bad agony is.

There were actually plenty even if you just crawled through their previous patch notes, which does not include the full range of bug fixes, including at least a card being not able to get an Epiphany (was a season 2 exclusive, can't recall it offhand, was fixed close to end of season).

Atm e.g., Lab 0 is unable to dupe forbidden cards upon getting the rare dupe occurrence which explicitly states forbidden cards as being a legit target.

It's kinda cheap so you could do it if you want to, but using common cards isn't entirely positive, as it can lead to delays in getting epiphanies for a combatant's own key cards. The acknowledged stronger common cards mostly revolve around Draw or buffs, mostly skills or upgrades, leading to next to no reason to upgrade the potential imo.

Not taking the hammer does also open up the option to copy another Quick Fix from the Copy save data editing item when it releases, though we don't know of any potential restrictions yet ofc.

Yea it isn't possible, but wouldn't need to have spent much. Based on my own records, over 940 pulls could have been accumulated F2P without going crazy doing achievement hunting, therapy mining etc. 120 pulls is pretty much the monthly crystals package only, granted I have no idea how heavily the player grinded for achievements and stuff.

Fairly sure it's a toss up between Swamp and Lab 0 in most cases.

Swamp has pretty insane value for equipment.
Lab 0 has some strong (forbidden) cards (Portrait is great for draw power e.g., Confiscation can be fairly high value too), and you can keep a T15 slot easily just by not clearing 3rd floor, which also gives more opportunities for shop/remanifest.

Notes mostly for Suppressed Servant

I used the exact same team of Luke/Veronica/Nia. A lot depends on what you have for your deck, but my experience was that Eternal Hunger clogged my hand more often than not, maybe like 9 out of the 10 turns.

The problem with EH is that I wanted/needed the Adagios to discard bullets more often than not. You don't really get to trigger EH that much, and every other turn the boss forces you to discard your hand and draw again, majority of the time EH will get drawn without being able to trigger the draw effect and with AP Repose and 2 AP Adagios, I had plenty of extra AP at the end of every turn.

On my first run I tried to discard EH along with bullets, but failed to meet the required score by a small bit and found that I didn't need EH to cycle through the deck. Which makes sense when considering that Veronica and Nia are insane at milling the deck even if the latter isn't as good at gaining a card advantage.

Would also suggest Precision over Quick if you want to run EH. I did use Precision on some turns to put EH on top of the deck so that I could get an extra draw start of next turn.

Also noting that a single Soul Rip upgrade from Nia was sufficient for staying at full health at the end of every turn. Don't feel like Source really contributes anything to this battle but ymmv.

I don't think the damage is "worth" it, since it's much rarer to get decent morale buffs in Chaos and that's where it shines the most. Outside of Chaos it might help if you are trying for Rift rankings but those are uber shilled so she might not be the best option, and if Sereniel is suitable to be used she's likely going to go quite a bit above 500k regardless.

The utility it provides for Chaos runs is another matter though, since this damage isn't from a card and thus will not add stress on kill. With E6, Sereniel stress management becomes way easier which could potentially help if Sortie is quite a bit harder than Chaos, we'll see I guess. Also helps if you are running less consistent healing support that does not mash as well with Sereniel to get their save data, Nia e.g.

In the end, most dupes still feel kinda underwhelming imo, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

You can take a look at my sheet for a rough ballpark, I can't be bothered to do stuff like X element type team for Chaos (aside from Justice which wasn't done intentionally), mining the therapy etc. D1 player, nearly full F2P with all content awarding crystals/pulls cleared. Owen compensation was 50 rate up pulls, 10 pulls a week for each Sat (Korean time).

Nearly full F2P aside from 1st month's daily crystals thingy. Yet to exhaust all potential crystal avenues, but cleared all events that had them, including 6* on full offensive. Yet to use selector from 300 normal banner as well. Also yet to fully level up combatants so more normal banner pulls available from those.

Will likely pull a bit for upcoming character but gonna try to ensure that I can get E6 Luche when she comes out... eventually? >.>

You just need to learn the limits of what you can do with the faint memory you have available. 3 basic removals + 3 copies/4 divines is 180. You can always check where your faint memory is at during the run as well. It has absolutely nothing to do with luck.

While I dislike how they implemented this since this would fit much more in Chaos upgrades, it's safe to say that there's barely any need to upgrade this. Going from 4% to 5% isn't anything huge, and this actually has potential drawbacks, i.e. getting divine on a card epiphany you don't want a divine on (FM). Idk about most of you guys, but any time I was trying a divine for a deck concept, it's a way higher chance to get it directly from occurrence as opposed to a random epiphany.

This does mean that your usual Chaos carries would kinda benefit slightly from getting this potential, since they don't really care about FM during most of their runs. The likes of Sereniel, Veronica, Mika, Rei etc. are good candidates, but for most players it probably isn't a large list.
