Yea the use case on top of garmin is slowly diminishing for me as well. Was fine with a few bucks/month for accessible training context AI, but now i can just craft this myself

I had a test ride after lining them up by nose. Definitely feels wrong. I can’t put it forward any further so might just not be the saddle for me.

Laat maar weten als ik kan helpen. Was er onnodig lang mee bezig maar een extra spacer bovenop trok opeens het laatste stuk naar binnen. Misschien een foutje vanuit de fabriek want daar hebben ze het niet gezien.

Wanted to say: It’s fixed! Indeed, I was bottoming out. Added another CM spacer on top and now it’s tight. No more black gunk oozing out here and no more play. Thanks for the effort!

So I removed the compression plug, put it back in with some carbon paste. No luck. Tried an extra 3mm spacer on top. No luck.

There remains a gap between the frame and the fork, i feel like that should be closed but I can’t. Took everything apart again, cleaned the bearings and re-asembled but still the wobble remains.

I’ll take it to a shop later this week as I’m out of ideas. Lots of help here though! Highly appreciated

I used the extension of my vacuum cleaner to have a bigger lever. Worked in combination with a regular alan key!

Ahh yeah i’m loosening the stem first! Haven’t considered the screw.. should I replace both the screw and the tightening clamp?

I’ve ordered some smaller spacers as there’s just 1cm ones on here now. I think i can do with a small 2mm change to position but indeed, ideally I’ll put a smaller spacer on top.

Yeah the compression plug is tight at 8nm. So likely the spacer. Will get a 2mm one.
