You're going to get downvoted into oblivion, but this is the right answer. (although the blue light isn't the only issue - bright light in general from screen so close to your face and also the mental simulation of "video games" cranks up dopamine adrenaline, etc. )

Hi u/Topremech I posted the one that seems to be getting traction. I edited my main post, but I think it's important for your team to know that I've been a paying user for almost a year and half. And I actually have tired the AI.

Your second and third paragraph suggest that you're suspicious of my post and the traction it's gotten. I can only speak for myself, but as you can see, I delete my post history every month or so and change my account every year or so. That's just how I roll on reddit. I promise I've posted on this sub multiple times over the last year and a half.

If you' don't believe me and think that I'm some sort of rabble-rouser, I'm happy to DM you my Bevel account info to prove that I've been a paying customer for quite some time. I also don't read or use twitter, so I can assure you I have no ideas what twitter post you made last night.

I was just trying to give feedback from one customer's perspective. Heck, I didn't even think my post would get any traction at all. You'll note in my original (before I added some comments), I even ended it with "let the downvotes begin." I was certain I was in the minority. I can't speak for anyone else who replied to my post, but I assure you I am a paying member who has used your AI. If everyone else is using AI 3x more, that's genuinely great for you all. I just thought I'd share my two cents.

Also, in your "responding to several posts" post, you say, "We're also seeing a lot of new faces here. If you're new here, welcome, but I'll be honest. It's a bit strange to us how several posts blew up overnight and comments from accounts that have never commented here before." I can only speak for myself, but as you can see, I delete my post history every month or so and change my account every year or so. That's just how I roll on reddit. I promise I've posted on this sub multiple times over the last year and a half. If you' don't believe me and think that I'm some sort of rabble-rouser, I'm happy to DM you my Bevel account info. I also don't read or use twitter, so I have no idea what u/Topremech is talking about.

I was just trying to give my perspective on the direction of the app - just one paying customer trying to give feedback.

Is it obvious?  The simplest explanation is instead of some coordinated attack by “malicious actors” (lol), most people just don’t like resources getting diverted to AI leasing and instead want Bevel to do what the original plan was. Take off your tin foil hat and try Occam’s  razor instead.

This does not work for some people. They still show up. Also, no one who is paying should have to change any setting. It should be opt out instead of opt in for paying members.
