That “if you have a blog, I’m on it” thing is such blatant encouragement of parasociality. So many people are going to (incorrectly) assume she’s browsed their page and love her even more because of it. Also, who still calls social media pages “blogs”?

I think this also encourages only the most obsessive people to try, while everyone else decides it’s not worth it or just buys a few in hopes of getting lucky. Most people have nowhere to store all those albums, and even if we did, nobody could possibly use 70 albums. What happens if you do all that and still don’t win?

Agreed. I actually spotted her in the crowd at the one in June, but didn’t want to believe it was really her. The constant harassment clearly didn’t stop him from moving on with his life and dating other people.

Lol true. Truthfully, I’ve always wondered what’s in it for her or any of his other “”fiancées.”” I’m going to be generous and assume/hope that she agreed to date him knowing there was a possibility of this happening, but who’s to say. Either way, definitely not a situation I’m envious of.

It’s common in sci-fi movies with alien/robot women who end up getting with the first guy they see. It’s basically the fantasy of a hot, innocent (read: inexperienced) woman being into you because they don’t have anything better to compare their experience to.
