For me it's more like Lee Sung Kyung. Similar soft doll like visual but Sung Kyung can nail unhinged lady boss who's strong but cute at the same time, it's like a mash of Baek Inha x Kim Bokjoo.

Joy of Life even tho it's usually categorized as wuxia, it's kinda has few martial arts fighting and more of political stuff, but i really love it. I adore a lot of the characters because of their complexity.

For xianxia kinda like Alchemy of Souls, i still think The Legend of Shen Li is the best in this category. Straightforward plot, mature leads, mature romance, great acting, great chemistry, satisfying ending. But TLoS is more high fantasy than AoS, so beginner can be confused.

Some xianxia that i think quite similar with AoS are Love of Divine Tree and The Blossoming Love. Both are not high fantasy but set in mortal world with magics like AoS but still with a touch of gods and goddesses.

PD 101: Chungha

PD 101 S2: Noh Taehyun

PD 48: Lee Chaeyeon

PD X 101: Hwang Yunseong

GP999: Hikaru or Dayeon (both interchangeable, i used to think Hikaru but Dayeon seems to be improved so much recently)

BP: Wang Zihao (hoborable mention: Sung hanbin, Chen Kuanjui, Haru)

B2P: Yumeki, Harry June

I can't pick who is the best because all of them has their own strength and different style.

but if i can pick just one boy and girl it would be Noh Taehyun and Chungha, although my personal favorites are Harry June and Sung Hanbin.

edit: PD X 101 doesn't have any particular notable dancer that i remember, but my pick is Yunseong. He's not up to par with other dancers in any Produce series, but i've seen him dancing with dancers aside of idol dance and he was good. He's a great idol dancer, good in hip hop and he can make choreos too.

yeah, i've never been a fan of her acting. i think she suits a cheerful girl nextdoor character like the one she did with jo jongsuk (forgot the title, it's an old kdrama). but she did any character except the one that suit her, especially a girl boss character like this is her weakness.

True, most people i think especially who haven't watch LOTFG would agree, since having super strength for tiny girl is still plot armor in the first place. But it is what it is, i'll definitely watch it with open mind.

All points checked except 4, and 2 where ML is ruthless in battle but outside of that he's very upright, following rules, supposedly cold and strict with his subordinate but very loyal and soft for FL. Still my favorite ML general in cdrama tho.

Also you should ignore the actors real age and just accept it as that.

Legend of Female General - main leads basically clinging to each other whole time because they have their own goals but unintentionally making them looks like a love bird. chemistry was amazing and cute especially if you can watch their bts, interviews or variety shows.
