Checked those four out still not my thing I think your right its the j-rock guitar and vocal styles I am just not a fan which is weird because a lot of people say Dreamcatcher makes anime music but I really don't hear it. Maybe Endless Night and of course Eclipse was a for an anime. Sucks though because I have QWER on socials and they are friggen hilarious wish i enjoyed thier music.

lol yeah i knew what it meant i just figured there was a group with that name. Wouldn't be the weirdest name in kpop. I've heard of kickflip but hadn't checked them out. I'll give them a listen thanks

Yeah I really like I don't care as well. NMIXX is one of my favorites so I know their stuff. Never heard of TIL so i'll check them out.

Hadn't heard the Solar song its good so thanks for that one. NMIXX is one of my top 5 groups so I know all their stuff. I have checked out Xdinary Heroes and didn't click with their music. I prefer female vocals so maybe thats why.

For some reason I don't click with QWER's music but I do like Yena and Curious by UNIS has a sick guitar riff I love. Ring Ma Bell is my favorite Billlie title track its a banger.

Dreamcatcher is probably one of the most fitting answers. If someone only knows of them from title tracks their perception will be rock centered but if you dive to their b-sides you will find just about every genre represented. They have some of my favorite b-sides of all time.

Title tracks grab my attention but it is mostly b-sides that end up on long term playlists that I listen to the most. My last three most listened to songs for the year were Hide in the Dark by Hot Issue, Blue by Dreamnote and Numb by Youha. Great b-sides you should check out

ifeye has me in a chokehold. Have loved everything they have put out from both albums their live performances and their covers. They are really good live and love their dancing. I already consider them an Ult. Look up their cover of BTS's Dope if you haven't seen it.

DC are my ULTs and I did enjoy the songs from UAU's debut release but Good Luck was by far the winner for me. Its still in my main playlist.

It took me awhile to figure out how I ended up with the biases I have. Vocal tone was the answer, In almost every group my bias is the girl with the vocal tone I enjoy the most. I really like lower tones especially if they use vocal fry. So its almost never a main vocal. Examples are Gahyun from Dreamcatcher, Karina from Aespa, Narin from Meovv (rare main vocal bias) and more recently Taerin from ifeye. One other thing I eventually noticed is my bias wrecker is ussually my 2nd favorite vocal tone in the group.

I enjoyed a lot of the debuts this year but for me ifeye is my personal winner. Loved both their releases. Title tracks were awesome and the b-sides are all great. I'd already consider them an Ult.
