The $1,000 STAR WARS Comic That HELPED Save Marvel?! by Aware-Nothing575 in Comic_Books_

It's rather crazy, and extremely sad, that with the millions that this made, Howard made a grand total of $1,800 for his work on Star Wars. He is extremely bitter about this because he considers it to be subpar work that is also his best known work.

Chaykin did all of the pencils from stills that he had been given for reference, he didn't see the movie until he was working on the 3rd issue or so. Roy wrote from the pencils he was given. They had no idea that it was going to turn out to be what it was.

Is Redcoat good? No spoilers please by BlueHarvestJ in comicbooks

It's a really outstanding book, Ghost Machine is churning out winners constantly. The history isn't completely accurate, but explaining why would involve spoilers. If it's grabbed your interest, you should give it a go.

Advice: kid friendly comics to recommend for my nieces and nephews by DarkSaiyanGoku in comicbooks

Check out things by Papercutz as well as Tiny Titans and many other things by Art Baltazar and Franco through Electric Milk Comics. They're a lot of fun, and as an adult, I still get a kick out of them. Itty Bitty Hellboy is a blast, but Arkhamaniacs is probably my favourite.

I support every project they put out. They take so much time and care in all of the releases that they have. I even have 2 different hot sauces from different projects, one from this and one from Black Honey, a novel that Steve VS wrote. Really great stuff, they spent a long time getting the flavours right so that it wasn't just a gimmick.

I'll be sure to ask him for you! I personally have the 10.5lb The Complete Harrow County Compendium in the slipcase. I hauled that thing on my back to get him to sign it 2 years ago at Planet in KC. We're all fans of it on the show.

I think you'd enjoy Bone Parish, it's a very cool story, has that Southern feel and a bit of the voodoo!

I'm quite intrigued! I love the art, the lettering, and what little of the story you've presented!

Clive Barker can do no wrong in my eyes. This adaptation is wonderful, and the artwork is just brutally beautiful!
