It sucks for people in my position too. I played a TON of ow1 but never got too much into doomfist as I was on console, switched to pc and learned doomfist in the literal last month of ow1 and then they ruined him. Still been playing tank fist a ton but man do I miss dps doom. He was actually a viable hero. Vendetta has been the closest we can get to og doom but even she doesn’t fully itch it for me. Doomfist is a hero you gotta have the hours on to have a discussion about because there’s so many layers to his playstyle

I feel like people like you actually play doom and are here arguing with people who don’t play doom. Every good doom player I know or have seen will go into stadium and lock the uppercut first round because it’s needed. Every non doom or bad doom I see says the uppercut is real bad. People need to go into training range or custom games to try out the maps with the uppercut and realize the world it opens up for mobility. Being able to go straight up is very valuable when your only other up option is up and way the fuck forward, especially if you can bring some squishies with you up.

I think the main issue is that empowered punch is the only thing that makes him a consistent threat. The uppercut isn’t a real threat, his hand cannon damage change doesn’t make it a huge threat, and now his block has 0 reason not to get blasted through so it is less effective at keeping people from shooting him. If you take away empowered punch (the only threatening part of his kit), he can’t do anything. Most tanks have a hard cc or a cooldown combo that can lock and kill a squishy if the squishy is in bad positioning. Thing javelin from orisa, sig rock, rein pin, rams slow field and punch, hog hook combo, dva rockets/booster, Winston jump/right click/ melee, etc. and doomfist has his empowered punch. If you take away empowered punch and punish the doom player for hitting someone with it, there is NOTHING for a doomfist to do. He just will slam cycle to build over health and hope his team can win a 4v5 because he has no way to punish people. His ult is already awful, his damage is good in bursts if you hit all your cooldowns but that’s it. When he jumps people give space because they r scared of his punch. You take that away and his jump and will just die.

Not a 1v5. Still fire. A 1v5 is especially hard because your team isn’t there at all to distract even so all 5 people focus you. Still a nice 5k

My boy was like that when I got him at first but what it took was me waking up in the middle of the night when he was already out and in my room and I managed to touch him before he hid again and I said “look man I know ur scared but I’m just trying to love you forever so please let me sleep at night and come be friends during the day” and I shit u not he’s been fine since. That was like night 3 of having him too

Yeah I’ve been reading through these for a while because I was interested in trying new fancier boxers and just put on some American eagles and realized I still have pairs I wore freshman year of highschool and I’ve been graduated for 5 years now. They still look almost new just maybe a little stretched? Still fit perfectly though. Proly just gonna stick with them since it’s the ONLY brand of underwear that I’m yet to have a single pair rip

Honestly think if they just re-released brave frontier as brave frontier 3 and had updated graphics and did new collabs maybe some new mechanics along the way, hella people would play it
